i want to explain the above picture. me testing impersonation of several characters through the invisibility spell or newly created illusions spells, does not mean i am giving a clue or i am saying i am that character. When Muratus del Mur will play as a character, he will be named like that and not hide behind other characters. When i will play an other character I AM an other character so connecting things back to me wont actualy help you in any way. Those of you knowing me as knaty KNOW that knaty is mot Mur even if played by same human beeing. The characters i am playing are presenting you an important view of this world and you should see them as tottaly independent characters and not chace things like "who is mur today". I hope you understand what i mean. The traveler is the traveler, and when i will be done with it and pass it to the person controlling it, you wont notice the shift. So yes i am writing the traveler story right now that no secret, but Mur is not the answer to who the travele is or what his intentions are.

Server suffered a brain surgery today without anesthetycs. You should see performance improvement, a great one actualy, but expect failures in the next period. The changes are experimental.

just a quick note, i haven't read all the replies. Old rpc\s will start to be removed after a certain period. i sill have to work on that system but its on my list. when this happends, the position will be made public and spellpage given to othe rpc.

Also i appologise i refered only to christianity , but i do have a good reason for that and i dont want to extend that reason to other religions, but you think of your own religion when answering the questions, its almost the same. you prepare it and let me worry how to distribute it I think its a good ideea to make it like a history page of game development and evolution, a mixture between story, social and technical evolution of the game. It can include important things discussed on the forum, newslog entries, head contest winners, story changes if important, funny moments from chat, etc etc etc. one page wont be enough i guess:) but lets try at all cost to keep it at one page. I think this has great potential if made right and its also a good opportunity for players to get involved in the community and help. Maybe having a nice template and make it as a PDF will make it easy to print a hard copy of it by who wants to keep it, i for sure will do so. Such pages could easy become a collectible thing. I can add a code to each page that in turn will give a stats increase, basicaly all you need to do is to get the weekly paper and activate its code, same thing as it was with the calendar, if you remember it. In other words to reward players for their constant activity even if it means reading the newspaper. I want to go even further with this, what if we simulate a real newspaper print, and have a limited number of copies available each week (calculated based on active player number or somethign else). That would make some editions limited and it will also make it possible to give separate serials to each page and organize a lottery based on that. Lets give you a boost in this direction I am offering a [b]substantial[/b] in-game credits startup budget and a stats rewards pack for you to distribute to participants in this project and reward them for their efforts. So you can start recruiting people. Also if things go well, i forsee a guild of editors comming to shape and an other new social formation (i dont know the term). Please contact me by ymsg to discuss rules on rewarding people and guild management. Shoeps will give you my address when you will show him this post. p.s. dont get involved in this project if you are not sure you will have time to manage it, because i plan to torture you with it , at least untill we establish a format.

we allready have too much text around here...but if it involves images it could work. Maybe indeed sort of a extended AL, like a small history page from time to time that will put together some important events, some gossip, some site changes and so on, but only if it comes together with images, artworks, whatver, and i am not talking about screenshots. Yuo should talk this with Glordamar and see if he has available artists to back this up. It could be presented as a weekly newsleter, with a nice newspaper looking template. just a thought.

the info on the right side about honor, win, loss was in a bad place because it was not updating as you played but just showing info since last refresh. That was very confusing and was causing people to ask why they dont see fights count increase or honor changes. The realtime values you see by clicking your playername in the online player list. No changes to the honor system yet, but i am not done.

So we finaly are at Alpha 8 ..so many alphas that i wonder what will come after 9 I think there enouh changes since A7 and the new MP2 level is defenelty a milestone. You are probably wonder when will be beta?..well you are probably new here if you are wondering that ..veteran players know me better than that Front site face will change also, i am planning to make game a bit more atractive and lower the "human filters". Now that this will be over i can tell you that the ugly front site was such a filter. There were plenty of games outthere that look amazing on the front page but then you find something stupid inside, so i was searching for those that have the patience to test also an ugly game and are not fooled by a nice front site. Now this 'filter' is no longer needed because there is an other filter in mp2 and i also want more users to join. I salute those who are with us from initial alpha and wish that the new ones will stay around to see many more numbers pass that Alpha indication. Mur

You cant compare MD to other games at all. The number of online players compared to the number of accounts is diferent from game to game. In MD there are about 20k accounts lost in the beginning where the email confirmation was not working, then there is MP3 thats indeed a patience test and filters out those that wont be usefull for the TEST. a very small percentage of people remain in game, but this is what i want now, a special selection of people not a bunch of people creating chaos allover. All the stats including those on the login page are real. There are about 3k active accounts / day, 40% of them are of same real person, and online at the sme time it fluctuated between 90-280. Top was 300. Other games have different way of counting online players and also its a matter of advertising. I can push advertising in one day and there will be like 1000 online and 20000 active if i wish so, but that will consume the budget for more days and have the server overloaded. The alpha test is advancing and because of that i will make the beginning of the game more and more easier so that more player remain in the game longer. Untill now i needed a good based of dedicated people and if you are among the first 120k accounts and have over 100 days activity you should be proud. What will follow next in Alpha 8 will be more similar to what you see in other games.... probably next week

asceding from mp2 will have only one outcome ... start of the game as its now, mp3. Mp2 will be the new startig level in a new place, this is one of the reasons i delayed mp4 testing of mp2 becaues i have to stop them from advancing tho their own doom somehow (mp3 start resets everything)

this is no bug, alliance members that get ballanced remain ballanced, its one of the things that changed but were not announced
