As some of you might remember, i used to be the drachorn guy. I just realized how long it's been when i looked up the corresponding announcement

To my knowledge, there hasn't been any serious attempt at picking up the role, so i once more encourage whomever it may concern to prove your skills and claim it for yourself!
About the poll, i don't consider the charms 'mine' anymore, but i still have technically unlimited access to the drachorn cave. Seeing as i finished my exams, i can make a little more time for MD again, and if there's a general consensus that charms should be up for grabs, i'd keep an eye out for quests to sponsor (i don't have nearly enough time to make and run a quest of my own anymore). Obviously, if Chewie or Mur disagree with that, it won't happen.
If neither of them has concerns and the vote is generally in favor of me using the charms, i'd encourage anyone who wants sponsoring to approach me. If your quest has positive responses, there might be a charm in it for the creator, too

As of this moment (which used to be a good time to be online), there's 14 people logged in, 7 of them idle. You seriously can't expect people to wait around for the exact right people to play with and do nothing meanwhile, there needs to be some stuff people can do on their own while hanging around. This is for the passionate and skilled people out there... a new level of MD
I am just a man, and chew is also no batman either, we are trying to foster the existence of this wonderful community, to keep its values and hopefully to attract more interesting people. As you know, this is a dictatorship, without dictators, a social sandbox, a trial towards self discovery, a place where crazy means good, where skills  are your invisible rank, a place where nothing is fair but just makes things spicier and challenging in a strange way. Each one sees what he is searching in MD, a mirror of himself that he eventually has to face, there is no predictable thing you could see  in that mirror, because above the beautiful places and semi-boring activities , there are the other living players that build the actual MD.
Mirrors are forbidden by law in MD, because this is a clue enough for the other mysteries to fall in place...plus it could really be dangerous to have a real, objective mirror, in a place created through the subjectivity of all the other mirrors..sorry i mean players.
Balance is there if you search it, it keeps things alive in here, but evolution feeds on unbalance, not on balance, your minds feed on challenges not on safe monotony. Its time for me to risk some more and to try to resuscitate this machinery..but i cant do it alone.
Magicduel is a learning machine if you know how to use it.
This machine needs moving parts and fuel to run. You do realise you are the fuel, without its players MD would be an dead piece of messy code. 
Right now I prepared all the gears and pieces, but its just too much for just a couple of people to do. We need help to put them together, and put them in motion and fuel them to keep them running. 
This is where you come in ...well some at least hopefully..
The "A25 Tools" are ready, functional, and already in test use for a long while. Azull did a great job on the island, Sushi made some insanely beautiful artworks, others tried their skill and did quite decent too... i have huge hopes for this. I dream to bring a next level of interactivity, through a natural level of evolution of the "veteran"  player....that level is to be part of md evolution, not just to be entertained by others, but to build your own gears inside this beautiful  machine.
The tools i made allow to build nearly every aspect of the md world if needed, with no coding involved, just creativity and logic..and lots and lots of passion.
...but right now they are in risk of rusting if i don't find more special people that have the ability to use them right. It requires a certain type of person to expand md, a type of such rarity that i am happy if i find at least one, but i prepared the tools to be used for all if it would ever be the case.
We have many skilled quest creators, and from time to time we find an amazing artist too..these characters are not permanent if i do not offer them a chance to express themselves better.
For me, the way i enjoyed md was to build it, and at some point Chew followed me and on the same path. Now with these tools you don;t need coding skills, and with volunteer artists you don;t even need drawing skills,  still need A LOT but at least now there is a chance for any passionate and smart person in here to develop md and see how it looks from behind the curtain.
 
We are a disaster in terms of leadership and organizig ...i admit thats mainly my fault, or was at least. Without other ways to manage this, i will count just on the individuality of those that might get acces to these tools, to make md a self balancing oranism, with no central brain that will govern it. 
I saw that some of you understood the underlyng concepts and symbols of this realm, and managed to respect them. Some of them even had god powers at some point, but they had no real tools to express themselves and infuence others. I will try again to discover such people, this time prepared to keep them and offer them real tools to make their share of the realm as they think fit.
 
If you kept reading till here, you have the patience neede for this, and you migh feel same hope i feel about this unique opportunity to CREATE something amazing, so i ask for your help.
I made a long (but far from exhausitve) documentation of what the tools can do.
If you are interested, read it, and help me organize it better. Help me build the first step needed for whoever will use it, to access it in a useful way (might be you who knows).
If you know a fossil that made legend long ago, invite them to do the same...to read this article like you did and try to put the gears i made in motion.
I will continue to develop md, thats what i do, thats my role in here, not to lead, not be a dictator, and not even to create. I create md, thats enough for my role, ..but you, you create the rest.
Chew, this is an invitation for you too, you are the code master, true, but you reached there not by being hired to do it, or because you are an amazing coder, but because you understand how md works.
I don't want to name all the people i see able to join in this, but i wish i see them actually do it. There is a place there for many of you, you just have to realize it and actually do it, yourselves.
Start with the low work, prepare the docs, understand them, then the second step is to help someone that already uses them to use them better, or prove you understand them well, and that you can keep md style while you do. The next natural step, is to try them out, and them ..if and only if you gain my trust and keep the tools long enough in such way that nobody complains on how you use them and you create with them, they will become yours and part of your role.

Hey All-
Today is my last day within the MD Realm. Casually, I spent the last few days exploring all lands, to my surprise, I discovered two scenes I never saw before! Then I didn't imagine that it would lead to a perfect farewell, but so it happened, the last walk through MD.
*Ambitions: I guess I fulfilled most of my personal ambitions for MD. Although I never became King! Shame! I will proudly call myself the King of Nothing!
*Moments: One of my favourite MD moment was one of the times I played Confused Santa. That night two of us played the account, so the shifting personalities confused a lot of people. That was Hilarious!
*Contributions: I will brag for once, cause it is my final post!
Active LHO for quite some time. Active MP6, one with the most adepts at the time. Got me the MP6 Token of Promise. MD's Advertiser: Promoted MD in over a hundred Top Lists and took over MD's social media for various years. Did much secret stuff I can't talk about! Hehe! Ps. if you care for the game, voting for it is essential. Hosted several events and several quests: MD Summer Festivals, MD Xmas Festivals, many random trivia, etc.  Hosted a couple of Christmas and Anniversaries. Now, this often involves sacrificing lots of time and having to play secretly a couple of admin accounts so that you as a member of the community can have some fun. So show some appreciation for the admins that play this in the background!  Got code access, played Testy account and was Dude2 in announcements before my name was released to the public. It was interesting realizing how big and complex is MD, codewise.  Became MP1, Mur decided to experiment with my account and broke it! Thank God I had code access and reverted my Mind Power level, else I would still be stuck! My message. As a normal player, I built my reputation, earned trust, and gained the maximum access the game, full admin and code/server access. You can accomplish even more! Get involved. Contribute to the development of the game. Give ideas, bring in new players. Don't be afraid to comment and step-up.
Today, I say farewell to a community I've known for almost nine years, a community I contributed to. All I can say is thanks for the great moments and the not so great ones. It made me a better human being.
To Chew and Mur, I will say keep up the good work. Keep MD alive. Think about the few suggestions I made you both.

I would like to begin by issuing a public apology to the entire MagicDuel Community as a whole.
As you read on, i will attempt to explain why this is, and how this has come to be.

In my youth, i was but a loving and reckless fool. I did not care for anything save adventure and having fun. Nothing else mattered in comparison, and everything else paled when i did not have these two items in my life, here or anywhere. Over time, i was reckless in my actions, and my own decisions brought me much happiness, as well as much pain. I made good loyal friends, strong worthy enemies, and it made me into the very man i am today.

But recently... i adopted a new strategy. That of the Blood Fang Road. A dangerous and bloodstained path that did not just seek to step on its enemies, but one that actively sought chances to do so, and one that relished whenever it found them, relished in the pain and suffering of its enemies. Well, the Blood Fang is no more. That version of me helped me achieve some goals, sure, but it did so in the worst of ways. I hurt some of the very few people i truly cared about, some of the very few people who truly cared for me, for Destruction did breed Creation, but it also had may unintended and sadly foreseeable results. 

The Blood Fang Road died at about 2pm Pacific Time today, about 7 hours before this post was made, and only 6 hours before i ascended to Mind Power 6. But it was not because i reached my goal of MP6 that i have adopted this new mentality, and finally come to terms with the ass i had become, someone willing to do literally anything to acheive my Dreams and Crush my enemies into complete and utter nothingness. No, the Blood Fang died, because i was at Deaths Door. My own Body, in the Search for True Wisdom and Health... was ironically enough beginning to fail me. It had been this way for about 2 weeks now, and quite recently, only got worse and worse as the Hatred inside me did as well, not related at all, but oddly matching each other in growth and intensity.

My only regret, would have been not having the time to watch this New Age we are all working towards. My only regret, would have been not getting to see my little sister grow up. My only regret, would have been having finally found True Success and Happiness in both this life and "the real world", and not somehow being around to enjoy what i worked so hard to obtain. Today, two great gifts were given to me. Firstly, a very wise man opened my eyes up to the Demon i had become... in order to kill a Demon. I had become the very thing i hated because it hated me, and that Hatred fed on itself until it very well consumed my entire being. I thought i had found Balance, but truth be told the Blood blinded me. I can see this now.

Secondly, i have been somehow and quite miraculously been given not one, but 3 new chances at life... this week alone. I can no longer ignore what is so plainly in front of me. When Death came to call me, my real Allies told me to Fight. When i was ready to give up, they had not yet given up on me. When my body begged me to quit, i remembered this and fought harder... i owe my allies my very Existance. When Death came to call me, i realized what was important... how many i have wrong and hurt in my endeavors, how much i have to amend for. Ive been given a Second Chance, now much more than Once, and a New Perspective to match it. I will forever see Life and Death, Friend and Foe, Black and White in a New Light, i think my 8th time nearly dying is long enough for me to take to Wake Up.

So i am issuing this public apology to all of MagicDuel... and i want to say this, i truly am sorry. Ill use the Time i thought was being taken from me Slowly that i have now been given back, to make Amends for all the Past Wrongs ive committed. To you Azull, i am sorry. I spoke to you in such a way that i deserve fro you to never love me again, and in fact, if you could not, i would not hold that against you. To you, Syrian, im sorry for the thoughts i had, plots underway, evil yet to come, and am simply glad it did not come to that, but i digress, i still ask for your forgiveness as well. To Eon, DST, Ivorak, the entirety of the Seal of Six and the Shattered Illusions, i also ask for your forgiveness even if it can not be given. I hope we can work together in the future, All of Us, for we are the Old Age that must meld with the New.

To Chewett... dear Chewett... to you, whom i have hurt more than any other, and one who has been there for me more than anyone else... one i was so Blind to, so Deaf to for so long... and one that never gave up on me, even if i gave up on myself, and the world begged you to abandon me yet you never did... Chewett, i honestly lack the words id need to do justice to how i now feel towards you. All i can say is thus... i will dedicate my life from hereon out, MP6/7 or not, King or not, Everything or Nothing at all, to helping MagicDuel, all of MagicDuel, and never letting this wonderful world weve all sweat bled and cried for die. This is where i Grew Up. This world let me learn and live things i could never have in "the real world". What i have to amend to you alone... would take, and will take, the rest of my life. But that is something i am more than happy to do. Something that will be done. For only my Actions form this point on can prove how i feel, and why i now feel this way, thus i will dedicate all the time i do have left, to no longer Say, and only Do. Im so Sorry and Thank you... for everything, absolutely everything youve ever done or did not do for me... i now fully understand.

I firmly believe that all voting must be limited to certain topics, but not certain people. If we allowed any sort of interference about the question who gets to vote, the "loud" ideas will inevitably overrule the "quiet" ideas, and history shows that the loudest ideas have almost always been the worst. Taking away the ability to vote from certain groups would in turn lead to this group being ignored, since their voice stops to count, and thus it also stops to matter. You can freely take rights, choices and property from those people without ever getting bad results, on the contrary, you will get better results from the people who dislike the non-existant group.
For the same reason, some things must be exempt from voting, call it basic human rights or civil rights or whatever you will. In fact, i think that it's much better for the continued existence of a society when you don't allow people to vote on laws at all, but only on representatives for some form of parliament every once in a while (3-5 years, imo), who are in turn personally accountable for the decisions they make while in power. The representative towards the outside should be elected by the parliament itself, as primus inter pares.
This would allow people to lead in a meaningful way, and give the general population the option to actually influence the way they live.

So, in my opinion, all votes need to include the whole known population to be effective in making everyone's lives better, in all other cases it's always about making the life of some group better, usually at the expense of another group.

I've just noticed that the icons in the left bar don't light up anymore. Tested with fight log, ally chat and PM, none of them send a notification (turn yellow or ping).
