As some of you may be aware, I collect creatures, not for fighting, just for having. And as some of you are also aware, many of the currently released creatures do not have a description on them. I will hold a contest for the best descriptions submitted. I will give entries marks for two things, the first being quantity, the second quality. Quantity will be a straight, 1 point per description. Quality will be marked out of 10, minimum per entry that I accept is 3/10 (any less I ignore) so that people don't just send one liners for every undescribed creature and get loads of points for it. So the first edition of this contest is over now. I think I've learned a couple of things while being part of the jury. Among others that I think it's time to update my own papers. Some of the comments I made on other people's papers and bad marks I gave, made me go: 'Damn, mine fail in that aspect too.' I also consider the contest to be a success. We originally stated that if we got more than a dozen of participants, we'd give an additional prize to the category winners and we did get 17 valid entries. Sadly we did not reach the 25 mark. ok, so I read the new rules to the heads contest and adjusted my play style accordingly, however I just noticed that on that last count My head number was cut in half and my score reduced even though I was online. I was in a place where I could not be attacked, so perhaps this was an unstated part of this change? Just trying to figure out if this is a bug, or the way Mur intended these changes to work. Its the first competition to go without a winner.
