The reason why i fix roles in place and why i keep positions unavailable even years after a person fails or goes away, is because that is part of md persisntance and part of my respect for loyalty and trust. I think any achievement in md is something very personal and should have a huge inertia in time. If i trusted you once with something, i also assume the damage that you might do with that role. Thats what i understand by full power, once yours always yours. There are very few things that could make me disobey this invisible rule and i usually try harder than you to keep your role regardless of what damage you do. people work sometimes years to reach the point where they define a role..it should be years till it fades away. titles will make this perpetual actually..with a new method to deal with inactivity, even short term inactivity

seigh - i saw in him someone that was fighting against all odds strongly believing in himself, a good example of self motivation. managed to do well in his silent fight with dst, my private personality assassin back then, eventually crashed..but i do think the pressure was ridiculously high on him. Had no personal chats with him untill much later when his image was already tainted. fang - very very big heart, able to love unconditionally and endure hate and repeated personal hits, without hateing back, something so illusory that i gave him illusions. His reasons and aims where useless and utopic in my opinion but implied a huge risk and temptation of abuse, so i wanted to give him the desired power to see if that power corrupts him, or he realy tries what he wanted to do, never got the chance however His aimes remaine unchanged. Had personal chats with him before granting him powers, its how i discovered how he is on emotional level, and liked it. Both could have become interesting characters in md if left alone, it was me that indirectly destroyed that chance without realizing. I think both their features are still badly needed in md, but their way of dealing with public pressure was not their good side so they where exterminated, i am not sorry for this, i am just sorry of the aftermath of this. Thats what i think if you want to know it so bad.

since i am indirectly baned from doing "favors", i will just announce when i would make one, just so as example. I don't know you, never talked to you, never saw you in-game, but "normally" i would single you out and try to pull out all wahts best in you on symbols perception and give you an amazing 'favor' everyone would envy. Why? because i think the drawings are awesome, and if you managed that, there is defenetly something=1 in you that needs boosted to see what comes out of it. But since i don't want to socially destroy you, i won't give you anything. In fact after posting this here i will probably ignore you just to protect you from the crowd. this, all this, after removing character names, should be a lesson for everyone here, because what i read here is not about a single incident but a general situation i saw lots of time before. I think this is my fault, i asked you to do this, and i normally wouldnt ask that from a role that i see to have no connection with anything 'sociable' . I just tried to avoid exactly this sort of frustration and to avoid having everyone scream "favor! fang 2! kill him!" ... but somehow i failed, and made you deviate your way in this process. I don't think you are recoverable (prove me wrong?) but at least the community should learn something out of all this and i shall learn how to deal in the future in similar situations...because as No one said (i think) i have an affinity for such cases in general. Blame it on my childhood if you don't understand my real reasons, lol. good read.

Sometimes i talk to people, people that contact me randomly (true they might aim to get stuff) If i see something (as in something=1) in them, i think if that something fits with what they ask, or with something else, and if that something is valuable , i tend to give it to them without much further thinking. Its a method i used over the years and it proved to be good to filter people with potential and keep them interested. This is seen by almost everyone else but me as "favors", even if i don't do them as favors. I can't make public such reasons, it would be like presenting those people naked in front of a crowd. Sometimes that something=1 is a partial thing, and they fail dramatically at other parts that are supposed for a stable role...examples are seigh, fang, other current roles..etc. Each had one powerful aspect i tried to boost by the power i gave them, simply because i thought that aspect of who they are is an important element to add to md in general. This used to work once, and i believe that when i did things this way and people had nothing to comment on it, it was good. When i became inactive, everyone started to criticize and attack such decisions, and people involved, putting them to extreme stress that actually changed them so bad that they stopped having that 'something'. This is in short how i see favors, and how i see my activity in md. Tell me how you see things should be nowdays. I was the main supporter of a community driven role evolution in md, so i understand both ways, but i can't behave other than i behaved so far. I am now facing two options, and no, retireing from md is not one of them, i'll be active anyhow..but before i become a silent coder or an active dictator (with respect to council), i want this debated publicly by everyone that claims to be active in here. observing.. ps. In fact i can make the reasons public (what i saw in them) if thats the main reason of misunderstanding , but only for failed roles

interesting ideas .. teleporting caster with target is good one. Using cause fights is even better, i am not sure how but i think this could make things very interesting. Chew will implement any change regarding this so he should be readin this not just me. I need to remind you that the bigger purpose is to make it easier for groups to resist such spells better, one way or an other, if they cooperate, not to abolish teleport spells. Teleport spells are important for two reasons..police sort of reason when sweeping labyrinth and such and quest sort of reasons where people need to be taken places. The question is how you differentiate what is a legit gathering and what gathering needs to be destroyed. I think that if enough group effort is put into something, it should resist outside influences better. Maybe a way for a group to be identified as a group and have a challenge score to match hostile spell powers against them? Wild thought, chew what do you say about this as a general concept?

(personal) spells can be used as you think fit when i said that i had in mind that if someone goes crazy and uses them just to harm others randomly and disrupt creative activities, others, with other powers, will take action against it, under the same rule that they can use their spells as they think fit. If for some reason, all people with power in md would decide to team-up and do damaging things just for their fun, then md can rely on a community and its doomed to collapse (i don't mind that, i am just mentioning it here so you know i know this is what my rule implies) This gives you chew the right to do as you wish against others that do as they wish. apparently, from all the people that do as they wish with the powers they have, i am the only one that can't..simply because whatever i do will harm either one or the other side. leaving diplomacy aside..i might be the worst manager ever, but my intuition still surpasses yours combined. My biggest problem is that i am observing things through other peoples interpretations..true..for now i can't change that...but even so..lets get back to the beginning of this incident. Please try to understand how i saw this and correct me if i am wrong in what i did that followed. A player, could have been anyone, asked me for citizenship of a deserted land. I could have said "no go away", or provoke him to prove he deserves it. I put in balance if i was actually willing to give such a citizenship to anyone at all, answer is yes, because lab is a crime scene for others, and some sort of activity needed to be brought there eventually, maybe a leadership at some point..who knows. what i noticed afterwards was that nobody wanted to compete in receiving this citizenship, ..instead, a wave of hate flooded everything as to WHY dd should get it. As if any of you has something to lose from this. It happens that from (only from) my point of view, dd managed to deserve the citizenship by discovering something nobody else noticed about the lab (info is secret but chew and council know what i am talking about). I gave much more important stuff based on that reason alone in past times. Then because his antisocial behaviour he managed to anger people that have something to say in all this, ..so fine..i didn't give him the citizenship. Now i was thinking....is the labyrinth in any way connected to "being sociable and nice to others" kind of thing? NO. Labyrinth is the sort of land that promotes secluded characters, not socially accepted ones. Then, i see this quest incident, that in my own opinion was a proof of pure malice, no purpose, just two powerful people doing same shit they always did. They have the right to do so, its why there is no room for any sort of punishment...but i could not pretend i was not angry on what happend. Why i was angry? because this time, their action where against a group of people, just to harm one, that in their opinion was getting a "favor". I think none of the land leaders put so much pressure on any of their citizens in order to give them citizenship...but maybe i am wrong. What made me upset was that more people where harmed in this quest disrupting, just for the purpose of hitting dd. Comming from people of great power, this petty action to disrupt a quest was, in my view, giving a bad example. As you can see, we are talking already about how much damage we can do with the spells, not how many creative things we could do with them. It is also a lack of respect that made me react. The fact that everybody (and i am generalizing here to make a point) seems to be against what i do, is a problem for me. Its not only affecting me on a personal level, but it is hurting md as a whole because i am forced to find alternate ways to actually do something in here. The spell cooldown was the most elegant solution i could find...but as part of the solution was the fact that i announced it. I was hoping that if i am seen as taking any sort of action, would be better than not reacting at all. So, i ran out of options, and i still not see what is wrong with what i did and why all this fuss. Thinking in absolute terms, if i remove from this puzzle the factors that 'complain', md as a whole would benefit a lot more...and you wonder why i prefer to be a dictator sometimes.

Putting a cooldown on spells is not "dedicated" to DD or to a certain type of spells either. It is aimed to cooldown certain type of spellcasters. Sooorrryyy for putting dd name in the anouncement, i only thought it fair to give a second chance to his quest. Since i won't punish people using their spells, that was the only thing i could do. The truth is that if there wasn't for the massive hate for people that talk to me, dd would have gotten his citizenship a long time ago for other reasons (research discoveries) other than this sharade of things to do for the lab. You want me to be active, yet you get all hysterical if i talk to anyone and think i offer favors...how cool is that... Then i shall remain active in a silent way and deal with everything in an impersonal way...even if my skill was to d stuff in a very personal way, but you miss to remember or discover that anymore. As far as dd is concerned, i shall stop any discussion with him, just so. so dd pls don't write me anything, if you or anyone else has something to tell me, please do so in a public post. Thanks

Lets say i use any means necessary to achieve the target..and thats an immersive story that the sound just guides and your brain writes. This is more of a sketch...i intend to perfect this ..thing. a book lets your imagination run free..you read the words and your mind give those words images..sounds..etc. But this..this has no words. This sort of story gives freedom also to the words..to the story itself...this means that such a stoey will be personal to each one listening to it. this is dangerous...but beautiful. The hypnotic part is balanced..the words spoken are contradictory with the ambient..some will see it as relaxing some will see it as sinister..in any case it will give enough freedom to your mind to compose your own story consider it a guided dream. I believe that if well done..such a thing could be amazing. USE HEADPHONES the binaural sounds embeded into this can't be heard on normal speakers..they are infrasounds. Your ears can't hear infrasounds..thats why each ear will be feeded a frequency and the interference of each sound left and right will be "computed" by the brain, that will actually hear the low frequency sound. Normal speakers have no way of doing that regardless how good they are. So use headphones if you want top experience with this track.

And yet a discusdion about "social solution" and what to do is much needed....

Its something i love to do occasionally when i can't sleep...i like to listen to mixed sounds and imagine i am there in the middle of a story. I thought to mix my own sounds, added up with some binaural brainwave sounds to set certain mood...and this is what came out... 41minutes of a sound adventure I thought to share it with you, to get some feedback. I intend to make a website with such sound stories (but currently i don't have the time) So..in other words, the attached mp3 is a _sound_only_ sort of story, it tells a story without images, a story that you can build in your head as you listen to it...this ofc if you don't fall asleep :p It has well detailed surroundings, and you are the main character that travels through a dungeon to find his way out, but on the way he discovers some things. This mp3 is final, but i plan to do much more detailed stories. For now I use sounds i gather from the net...i can only dream to record my own sounds one day... Its great meditation sound, with a twist. its a reaction to the event, started by the character mya and written by the person behind it.. In cases where personal issues flood you, either the character or the person take control of your actions. It was somehow directed to the community as opposed to someone directly involved in the event, this sais a lot about your view on everything here as a whole

The docs will travel from here to the second authority and then to the receiver of the title. Whoever grants/awards your role will need to be able to ship the title to you somehow. Lets start doing this with the less problematic addresses, you can email me the shipping address if you are on the list or you can email me that you have an issue with emailing me your address and we can discuss solutions after. If you have nothing against it you can email/pm your address to Ivorak, that would help me organize, but if you have an issue with that you can/should send it directly to me. Needless to say these will always remain private and they won't be used for alt detection or anything else than shipping these docs, also i need to remain you that you can give an alternate address or PO box address, it doesn't matter as long as you have a way to pick it up.

i asked him to talk on the forum... the reason is simple. "face the community" This is an impossible task, but creativity and will solve impossible tasks. attempting impossible tasks are like dancing with death...you asked it. i tell you a secret...well no longer a secret....you path to the lab citizenship will be near your death...you asked impossible things, you have to survive impossible things. wow wow wow..hold on. i hope you do have a ring item with such a description. and i doubt that greatly. because if you do this solves everything, but if you don't its serious to forge it. In a world where words are our sensors, our eyes years nose and everything else..claiming to have something you don't is like forgery and its something i dislike. (This is a friendly warning so you know such things are not ok, first time i explain kindly, trying to help you not to make something stupid.)

I received a list of rewards for this, I wanted to say here i find them very nice, quite awesome. Some are a bit over the border of what i would normaly allow as gift, but the people they are for deserve this "over the edge" bit not necessarily for this particular contest, but just so in general, so i agreed to all of them. As i said in the other topic. I will issue "root docs" , the kind that will require only one signature. I will try to keep those as _RARE_ as possible and only for situations where its really needed.
