There are/were two separate bugs: 1.) When joining the K group with an empty K document, and sometimes just randomly, a player would not appear in the list, and was in essence an invisible members. This one was theoretically fixed by Mur. I haven't tested it since. 2.) When clicking the edit K doc button in the upper right hand corner, an error message appears. Awi

The only problem of course is that we can't edit our documents because we get a error. Awi

Whether or not dst does in fact harass people, I don't know, and don't attempt to make a judgment on. She has never harassed me, but that likely says little about whether she harasses others. I think it's incredibly safe to say that dst will not change her ways with a forum post by Fenrir, someone whose opinion I am sure she has little to no respect for. If one truly wanted her to change, a more effective medium would be sending her a private message, or engaging in a mature discussion, to which I've never seen her disregard and be unreasonable of. The only thing involving the entire community does is give dst even more motivation to hate people, and feel attacked. Attacked people turn hostile. This is a fact. So, whether or not dst does harass you, there is only one viable option that you have in response to her behavior: ignore her. If you want to take away all of dst's power over you, do not speak to her, of her, or around her. If you want to increase her level harassment, do the opposite: start a forum board about how you wish her to change. Fenrir, in my mind by making this forum board you are following the example you suggest dst has laid and causing turmoil and unhappiness in the realm. I think it's time that you take the advice you offered to dst. "Please change your ways." You have good intentions, and that is clear to me and others. I don't consider you a bad person. The reason that no one listens to you is not because you tell the truth, but because you assault others with your opinion. If you truly want dst to change, perhaps setting the tone with a promise to change your ways would do more to avoid conflict, and she would be more willing to take your entreaty as a serious and calm wish for change. At the moment you stand steadfastly assuaging dst as the solitary culprit, while the true issue is both players. Awi

So as I continually increase the amount of pure text that the Oak Log holds, I'm starting to realize that in a few months it could become quite a bit to load, especially on a slow computer. So to bide someone's time, does anybody know how to create a preloader? Something of the sort? I'd be willing to pay. Awi

As someone who might appreciate Roleplay and art in general on a more intricate level, I will say the following: I can see the values in roleplaying intimate behavior, even though I myself would never even consider participating in it. However, what happens between two people in this close and intimate way should be kept between these two people. The third person who is forced to participate just by reading or seeing what is happening is unpleasant. Sex is fine, good, and lovely. Seeing it is a matter of utter severity. I am not saying what you and anybody else do is not beautiful, but rather to the unsuspecting eye it is jarring. So this is why I say, as someone who supports Roleplay and all its facets fully, I sternly support this move to ban intimate behavior. Also, if anybody is a proponent of Roleplay, it is Mur. Why in the world would he outlaw a form of it without due cause? Awi

I know for a fact that there has been black market trading of bugs, of that there is no doubt in my mind. It was almost wide-spread among veterans for a while. Is that wrong or right? I'm not sure it's either, it just was. However, not one person ever went public and put an advertisement offering to pay for others to find bugs. That was exclusively for Mur, and with good reason. So now, you have created a sticky situation, Fenrir. While it was done underground, Mur could allow it to happen because in truth it increased the safety of the community by finding bugs and then reporting them. Now, however, when it is out in the open and submitted to [b]poll[/b] no less, there is no doubt in my mind that you have forced him to provide a stance on the issue. Furthermore, there is no other possible stance for him to take besides that this is not okay. Encouraging this kind of behavior outright allows it to get far out of hand, and one thing follows another. Congratulations. By putting this out to the open, you have limited the free reign of bug finders and traders, and nobody will ever consider finding a bug for you (they might have, if done in private). Awi

This is good, Cutler, except I don't know people's ID. The only easy for me to find out is to look at a PM of theirs... and if I have a PM... I can just reply. It's useful for when you need to send a message to someone and don't know when or where to find them, but I sort of like the idea of a postmaster running all about the land looking for people. While I do agree that there is a lot of value in having someone who is knows a little about everything, but I myself lean towards the "a lot about a few things". Why? There are so many people in the world these days, the era of the Renaissance man is over. There are no more Gausses (brilliant man, look him up if you don't know who Gauss is) or Leonardos; the people who could make stunning advances in a series of fields. No, today is the generation of the specialist. Everything is at such an advanced state, if you spent your entire life learning a little about a lot you would hardly get far. It is often only possible to reach the cutting edge of success by being a specialist. Awi

Ah, interesting. "Who gave you your first wishpoint, and why? Did you feel you deserved it?" My first wishpoint was given to me by Gargant for an aurora borealis puzzle quest, and to be honest... I don't feel I did anything worthy of a wishpoint. It was only a matter of figuring out how the words were encoded, and while difficult, I didn't feel that I had done something special or spectacular. Awi

Yes, I see Grido's issue with a question so broad. So maybe I will refine it. This might be an ongoing conversation, we'll see, and I definitely will be talked to people individually. "Do you remember your first day in MD? What was special, hard, etc.?" The thing I remember most about my first day in MD was Perrobotillo, the little dog in the Paper Cabin, and the massive amounts of information I asked him about. I'm sure he was frustrated by me.
