[size=4][font=georgia,serif]You may have noticed there are many artistic contests going on right now. Well, here's another and its aimed at the graphic artists out there. Knowledge of Photoshop or other equivalent programs/software is always good but not necessary. You can simply use Windows Paint or download Gimp which is free, and wonderful![/font][/size]

[b]Either dress up a MD scene with Xmas decor, such as [font=georgia, serif]Xmas[/font][font=georgia, serif][size=4] trees, ornaments, gifts, tinsel anything Xmas related or have MD creatures dressed up as Xmas type characters OR even put them in the scenes, its up to you! Just make sure to add the "MD" in there and don't use anything but your own creations in the scenes and on the creatures- Graphics only no drawings UNLESS you use a program such as paint to do so.[/size][/font] [font=georgia,serif]You may use colors not normally found in MD or stick to the traditional look.Post them here when done![/font][/b]

Edit: Just noticed the rule that says "[b][font=Georgia]don't use anything but your own creations in the scenes[/font][/b]" .

Some of the items used in the picture I did not hand drawn, or manually drawn using photoshop. They were images that I got from the web and modified to meet my design, so they are not my own (eg. the shadow people on the left was actually a picture of children playing in snow that I messed with to reach that outcome. Same idea with the snowman and the presents).

That probably fails the rule so it probably disqualifies me from this contest. None-the-less, I think the image turned out pretty good =)

Christmas is coming and it's time for me to bury the hatchet (or should I say Axe) of war. So, I...turned Tree into a Fire tree and decorated it! And I also wished him and its master (Goaty Boy) Merry Christmas (in a certain goaty style).

Maybe Santa will be nice to it this year and it will get something more then coal

Ok, then my previous entry should be disqualified as I used images of people that I didn't take (the shadow people in the corner were originally children playing in the snow). Maybe if I have time I will redo the image, though I do like how the shadow people turned out =)

So I know this may sound like a "duh" question, but we aren't allowed to draw anything at all? Only software is allowed, no pen/pencil? I am still trying to think about what to enter, but I just wanted to make sure I understood before doing anything.

Yes, you got the idea no pencils pens nothing but software, you can however use a paint program such as the basic Microsoft version of Paint or download one of many great free software products, such as Gimp to paint with, or if you are lucky enough to have Photoshop or similar software you may use those. Think computer graphic arts. Have Fun!
