We are now no longer able to right click on MD. Some of my general opinions: The announcement states that this is being done for aesthetic reasons. I prefer being able to right click on things so that I can get the urls of pages on MD I commonly visit (friends list for example). Announcement: Discuss...

Then that needs to be stated in an update announcement. As far as I can see, you demand that all rookies read through all of the announcements so if one is incorrect, it needs to be stated somewhere.

A fugitive! Look out!!! An exchange with council: [cquote] Hello Phantom Orchid, Your release date is based on the period of time you are expected to stay in jail, This therefore means since you have been escaping the release date is continually pushed back. The expected jail sentence was a month but since you escaped multiple times during that we still consider your jail term unfinished. Since it is well known that escaping jail risks more punishment then at the moment the jail sentence is still a month of continuous jail time.[/cquote] Well known? I was not aware of this, and I have been an active player for 4+ years (I first stepped into the realm 1546 …

"Outing" of alts by players with administrative tools. Discuss. (I am not directly saying dst used admin tools to out my alt - she just happens to have them, and I would argue that people with those privileges should respect personal boundaries and not out peoples' alts)

This is what happens when you send people a document about changes and tell them not to read it yet. Google Docs Mayhem

I think everyone here needs to read http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/5784-forum-rules/ and then watch this. Warning: Contains some profane content. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9KiDzMaRiQ

About six years ago was when I originally joined the game and haven't been really dedicated in the past to achieve anything more than Mind Power 3, obviously. But I have finally buckled down and achieved Mind Power 4 and it only took those six years to do it! Here's to another six years and hopefully by then, I would have achieved Mind Power 5.

So, I thought it might be a neat idea to collect data relating to DNA, just to have a list. I don't have any plans regarding what to do with said list, but it'd still be good to have, for information's sake. So, PM me in-game or post here (no forum PMs please, my inbox is too full already and I'm too lazy to clean) with your DNA sequence and I will try to keep the list as current as I can. Feel free to discuss as well. Since it looks like im not going to be able to be in work this week due to some "fun" i plan to work on the game backend as much as possible. During this period of time its very likely things will break, Please use normal bug reporting practices and wait at least an hour after it has broken to come onto the forum/email me about it. I plan to be working on some of the most ancient parts of MD fixing them up so that they are easier to work with making new features. You wont see any changes to the front end of MD but this should allow coding other features to be easier and more manageable. The reasons this needs to be done because MD has gone through a lot of changes…

There are a number of puzzling characteristics associated with equipment... "discovered properties" "effectiveness" "damage" "integrity" "Alignament?" I hear that these were meant to be implemented in some way, then were not. What were they meant to be, though?

So soon(now) the other Moderators and i are going to be more officious with how we moderate the forums because clearly some people dislike each other enough to repeatedly attack each other on the forum. If you use a racial slur or similar, you get a ban for a period of time. This is your only warning. If you cause a conversation to descend into insults, and we as a moderation team decide it was you starting this, the topic will be locked and you get a warning. You or anyone else are free to recreate the topic, but if it descends again, it will get locked again, and the person responsible will get a warning. You can complain about things nicely, its not hard so…

As I understand, PO is getting out of jail faster then we get it jailed I feel so annoyed as hell that this M%^&* F*&^ is pissing on all of us by ostentatiously getting out of jail and walks among us with such nonchalance . Is there any explanation for him getting out of jail ? What is the purpose of getting someone to jail ? To get roles ? Is there any reason on why the rest of us don't start abusing the powers ? I am really F%^&*( pissed about this Yea, we all know what MD is not fair, we all know about it but there are other "attributes" this game was implying, like honor and respect. Lately I started to see that on the …

Thanks to all of you. A lot of people know that Magistra has being raped in the last few months.

Currently account creation doesnt work, Im working on the server to try and fix this and a number of more minor performancing issues. It will probably restart a number of times, meaning you will probably get logged out if you are idling, Sorry for this. Thanks to Shem for reporting it and darkraptor for confirming it.

Ann. 2581 - [2013-05-14 12:39:37 - Stage 11] There is important planned maintenance on the database tonight at 21:00. This may be rescheduled for a later date if i don’t have internet by then. The entirety of the game will be inaccessible for the period of the work which is planned to take 15-20 minutes. Anyone that requires the game to be online during this period should contact me ASAP on bugs@magicduel.com . All information will be posted on the forum. =================================================== As Mur would say "just do it live, we dont need backups" but since we want to ensure no data is lost there will be a backup and modification of data. I…

User Registrations have been disabled for today while i configure the system so the spammers cant do anything.

I will be holding a meeting concerning Abra and the Empty Aramors at the Gates of Ages. It will be at Wednesday, March 7th, 0:00 Server Time (Day 67). The goal will be to find a way to release the aramors from Golemus. I will try to be there all day and I hope many of you will come and discuss the subject. Lets try to keep the talk of the aramors ingame please. This also relates to the quest recently posted by Phantom Orchid: http://magicduel.inv...541#entry103541 Below is the statement in my alliance page. These are becoming too common nowadays. Just 4 were posted in front of me in different topics by completely new accounts with gibberish names....

No indication when it will be up, please direction all moderation to other moderators until I reply stating I have Internet.

Happy new stage all! Time to take a look at what changed during the last stage! Be careful, it's a long list.
Stage 11 started way back on 2011 - 08 - 20 with the announcement of the clues project (research and connections) which got implemented week later, along with the research achievements. (However due to a bug clues are now inaccessible) While there already were a few shared items back in stage 10 many new have been added during stage 11. The Golemus lab became a new item dispatch location, and the lab in the Tribunal got unlocked in order to hold more shared items (but never got filled.) The voices on the forum got appointed to represent the …

I am currently waiting on Invisionzone to upgrade the forum, This means that in the near future the forum will be down for a period of possibly up to an hour while this takes place. You may see errors, random messages or be unable to access the forum during this time. Their wait time is 8 days currently so i am attempting to get all the information (specifically getting mur to find one of the root passwords) so i can perform this myself. When i get the password i will upgrade the forum after an announced delay if this occurs before the upgrade. Thanks for your patience Chewett
