This is quite old for me, sorry for not bringing it up earlier. Anyhow, when I access duel replays (duels listed on the fight log screeN, everything works just fine, but I do get this message on the top of the replay pop-up: edit: actually, one thing doesn't work - it doesn't replay the animations, the replay just presents the starting situation of the battle.

So imps are boosting everyone? For some reason I thought they were boosting only creatures up to level 3? And I just checked, it seems winderwild attackboost is working as well, in some percentage if not exactly 50% as it says... All my MD life I thought they were bugged about that aura, was it fixed?

You are right Z, 2009-2015 year thing is an extreme example and has nothing to do with the scenario of a player bypassing alt checker with intent, that you are saying is not against the rules. Ary said most of it on the subject. Dst's point about free credits is indeed as per the current system - but I don't see how you see this as a problem, and the original scenario as not. Free credits is a legit mechanism for every player, and doing free credits helps MD in advertising, MD shop treats a free credit and payed credit the same, so what's the difference between the scenario where free credits are used instead of 'real' credits? Either both are wrong (and per rules they are), either they are both right.

Z: It includes two singular items as an abuse as well via "common sense" rule appliable to everything, depending of the whim and mood of the one who is calling the shoots. If the subject somehow catches Mur's interest, and we get a concrete case of this, I doubt that the accused one would succeed to explain to Mur that the deed wasn't cheating, and that two separate items/morphs/whatever are a whole different matter. MD perspective is that we should try to prove people aren't alts, rather than proving they are alts. Maybe I'm jumping with the conclusions too much, I need to get some infos on that alt checker, but I felt it was implied it used whatever means it could to connect two players. No adepting, no attacking, no trading... Etc. Basically, you want an alt, you have to cut it off from your other character as much as possible, no interaction, that's the way I see it in regards to MD rules.

Z, Ary is right. By the current rigirous anti-alt admin system of beliefs, the situations you are describing are alt abuse. You can justifiably argue that it shouldn't be that way, but not that it isn't that way because it is. Z, you argued: The game indeed wants you not to make alts. It's not openly forbidden, but it encourages you not to with a long list of announcements that go into that direction. In the situations you were describing, you can make countless alts and get countless "free shuffles" thus 'robbing' the game of those credits. Not to mention credits bonus for new accounts (not sure is that being taken care of). How did ChewB get that item in the first place that ChewA wants, that is the question that can save or condemn all Chew models. There are cases where items are passed along via alts when it's not abuse, or that can be argued to be safe from prosecution.

I know nobody bidded specifically on the angien card, so at first I thought it was a private offer, then I saw Nim's post and saw "bid on all red" that I obviously missed when I posted in the last row of an edited post, so I just assumed. Concept of sacrifice is not unknown to me, but whom do we present our offerings to grant us power over death and revival, and why gold? My question is more of a call for the official connection to be announced partially - not leave it like that "1gc cost of activation", rather than listing plausible interpretations. It should be better presented eventually, for it to be a proper part of MD culture. Eara stated the most of what I wanted to say now: The bolded part explains why the ritualistic part of the kill or revival is damaged, and in the world of symbols, ritual should remain strong. The myth that Chewie linked can be proper, if we link it with existing MD aspects, while in this case I think they await their creation?

Although it seems to me as a good idea that the kill/revive items get their requirements, I'm interested in the (lack of?) symbolical connection. You have an item that wants to swallow your gold before making a kill/resurrection?

The check for inactive clickable entry is also an effort made by a different player, and previous undeleted clickable entries do leave a trace that you need to look carefully...? Like the fact that you can access clickie entries with a password regardless if they went inactive or not. Just saying in case you need an excuse to make the feature available :P

One more thing to consider is the status of a worshipper. Let's say the protector role gets more powers (which I think it should), and one of his worshippers gets into real trouble. Protector has no interest to defend him, if the enemy is someone dangerous, not getting heat from somebody anymore is a small sacrifice not to disturbe the monotonous today. If we could accent the bond between the protector and the worshipper somehow... One extra thing I deem important: (I've put it in the spoiler box not to detter people from reading my long posts :P) [spoiler]Also, consider that requirements for an mp6 are pretty huge, especially in the world of today. If we could put an accent on the role of being an adept of somebody (and allow not being an adept of somebody along the way), in that way so that people appreciate the fact that player A is an adept of player B (not sure in which way it can be done, but let's have it as a goal for a start), then we could decrease the number of adepts required for one to become mp6. Several faction-based protectors, rather than a few world-wide protectors that have to be politicaly correct to everybody so they can maintain their status as a protector, but political correctness is not that much compatible with protection. I have decided not to prolong my term as MB king (few years ago before Chewy became the king, we made a protocol to check the kingship every 6 months and organize a new vote if necessary, based on previous experiences). A process that lasted a few months (candidacy, method of voting, voting, contacting admins, etc.) is finally ended and we have a new king after succesful elections! Nadrolski was the only candidate, in an election that had option to support Nadrolski's candidacy and an option "none of the above" practically against Nadrolski's candidacy. There was 1 null vote. 100% of regular votes were in favor of Nadrolski, so we have a new king. Long live King Nadrolski!

What's more fun is 25 000 wins and losses you got there, you've been really careful to set your perma balance :P

Who voted on the matter? Why didn't he get a temporary revival for Christmas, like all the prisoners get released (previous years anyway) to participate, etc.? Obviously some stuff happened behind the scene, but on the surface, it seems very weird for you to quit now, Dark Demon. You've been killed before, but you're in better position to manifest your vision of your gameplay now that you were before, why now?
