It is surely a sign of our times, a sign of things to come.

wow what great responces!! i love the story yoshi, its really magical and such a good reason for the stone to be in the box.. with regards to the principles you mentioned and how they affected the stone, i was looking for something a bit more like this i guess. (not the principles involved in the moment but in the actual object.) Principle of Enthropy: the stone flicking accross the water altered its structure. the stone on the beach shaped by the rolling of the sands around it.(linked like you said with transposition x) Principle of Imagination: the stone "holds" the moment when the girl gave it to him, a vessel which encapulates the love felt in that moment (you mentioned something similer in your story which was just great) Time Principle: like you said time stood still when they kissed. When he holds the stone.. time would stand still for him maybe "transporting" him to that time in his mind. Who knows how time is altered for him when he holds the stone? Transposition Principle: as an object, it "holds" this memory so strong. the object is imbued with the love and the memorys so strong for him. How this may affect him and also her, is unknown but it is an extremely powerful force. but you made a great effort, thanks for spending so much time on this. And Particlezen i LOVE your responce regarding the shell, i think you understand its place in nature, and what it can show us much more than me! I like the fact that you wrote anything is possible in understanding these things, indeed it is, thats what this game is about. Anything is possible as long as you can work out how. in no particular order... Pamplemousse - my first friend here, a special person who at the time when i arrived, had time for everyone, not just me, interested in story writing (and very particular on spelling mistakes!!) and offering rewards for people who helped others with their papers. Havent really experienced her Citrusy wrath only the sweet scent of her grapefruity goodness. Leader of Team Citrus, truely deserving of Best Protector, who spent an AWFUL lot of time and patience with all her adepts not just me. The first person i RP'd with and made me feel warm and welcome in MD, helping me spread my wings for myself x Ailith - When i had problems with people in MD i didnt know who to turn to. Ailith helped me with my problems (i dont know what she said...but it worked..thankfully.. or i wouldnt be here) friends with everyone and a big ear and even bigger heart. I dont know if it pained her to become tainted, im sure it was probably nessercey for her character to develop. I didnt like the change at first, and i believe she must sometimes miss being the person she once was, but change is nessercery for everyone, and to me, she will allways be the same x Zleiphneir - Being lost and not "feeling" the love in MD for a few reasons, feeling alone i didnt have anywhere to turn. There was one person that was i knew would be there to talk with, whether he liked it or not!! he didnt have a choice to leave.. i could come and go when i pleased, and sometimes i felt rather selfish.. but you know we all have different friends..it would be impossible to keep in touch with all of them ALL the time. Taught me simple rules about hwat i should or shouldnt think about doing when RPing and helping me create a character i enjoyed playing, this is probably the person i felt most attached to when i first began the game. though a bit annoying and defensive when asking him a question (i call him a brick wall ) often asking a cryptic one back, one of the only people who made me look deeper into different parts of the game. Peace - if i ever felt in an Intelligent mood, i would search to find Peace. Her understandng about principles and the ways and workings of Necrovian were an inspiration for me. Often she didnt say anything, and helped me think for myself. Annoying yet thoughtful stories/morals that she got from her father, still perplex me to this day, and to be honest make me feel a little stupid, because i cant understand them. She helped guide me to an answer i waqs satisfied with, talking with me for hours and hours at times, and i really really apriecated her time, and the way she went about "leading" me to an answer. Ladytwin - Not knowing much about this perplexing character.. it doesnt matter. Friendly to everyone she is an inspiration for me. The time she has spent on this game and helping people, and just seeing her wave fury (her hair) around is just amusing and makes me smile. Constantly searching for something, allways a woman on a mission, yet having a LOT of time for people in the paper cabin, an LHO without being named as one. One of the people who has RP'd from the start and im sure will continue to do so. (special mentions, people mean a lot to me personally : innocence, kouros, windy, Rhah de la rey) (please post your TOP 5! if you cant say nice things about people you admire in game, tell them what you really feel, then try on here)

(take one item and describe in words why they might be important for him, or write a story about it, give examples of principles shown in that item, or explain what it might represent for him. the story will continue soon with something else to think about, rewards for this quest will be given for interesting answers,) (this section of the story is open-ended, please feel free to describe an item that you would like to be in the box also, and why you think it should be there x, hard for me to explain, and for you to understand what exactly you need to do, but be creative and inventive, mentioning at least one principle in every answer you give. Repitition is not a problem in discussing the different items, they could all be the same, just an idea to get people thinking about principles)

People would look up and see the star and they saw that it was special, they sang songs to her, they wrote poems about her, they idolised her, but she really couldnt understand why. She looked about the sky and down to the earth and saw others and wondered why they thought she was so special, she was just being herself. Just being. Mother language, father writing, what is my purpose in life? why do i exist? Her mother would speak to her in tongues and she didnt really understand what she said, and her father who lived far away would send her letters about his life, but she felt that he didnt really know Her. All her brothers and sisters were doing there own thing and she felt alone. (not finished :S have to leave this for a moment...)

At the moment you can Vote topics up and down annonymously. If you want to agree with a topic and put your name to it, you have to write a post to say so. And this could be classed as Spam is there a way to implement something similer to "i like" in facebook (i think, dont really use it) could be set up to something you click to see the full list of people who have read and liked you Post.

the price of the raw items at the moment : when the gemstones were around, i know some were being bought by the hoarders for 1 gold. Im not defending them... but where do you think they got this money from.. either they fed money into the game, won money/items in contests, sold/traded creatures for items/gold or "cheated" people by buying low and selling high. How much money has Shapeshifter invested in the game? if it is a lot then dont you think he almost deserves the items? how on earht did he get so many... maybe there can be a section just before Gold coin, on the MD shop which allows you to buy something - say a tool creator part (maybe you would need to unlock all 5 sections of the MD shop to recieve it) that would cost 250 quid or something, i dunno.... and someone who spent that much money .. do they deserve something like that? where does that leave the rest of us (kinda but not really me, i mean i CAN afford a few investments in MD) that have to rely on voting for MD. silver coins that can be used for trading can be obtained by quests, even gold has been given as a prize and items probably will be too, so i guess this is how they can do it. It Still involves SOMEONE investing in the game, hard to know where im going with this. Its just i know that the raw materials were being bought at a "high" price in comparison to objects sold by Arcuna Krishkah at the item auction 6 months before (i bought a cloth breathing mask for 4 silver...which i gave away selflessly in RP to someone who left the game a week later, just one of those things..) What about gold and silver? will this "flood" the market and depriciate too?? will there be a way to "lose" silver for good, in return for raw items like a shop i am not defending anyone, i dont really have an opinion, you might not agree with somethings i said, but this is part of a discussion and i dont think i should be rated down for saying these things,not that they seem of high importance to some really good points you guys have come up with Asterdai

Hello! I love to play MD and i love to be active, however i have found a partner in the last few weeks and it is hard to spend time together, they are going to be moving away and in the next month i will be spending a lot of my free time with them, After which i hope to resume a few hours a night to play on MD I work 7am - 3pm at a cafe Mon-fri now i have started a job mon, wed, thurs 5pm-11:30pm at a pub. so er yeh 60 hours in 5 days leaves me free for about 2 hours at 12:30 AM - 2:30 AM to play on those weekdays, i dont really need to explain as long as you are aware that i will try to be on all night Tuesday and as much as i can Saturday and Sunday. too hard to explain and too wierd to expect you to remember lol but this also means i will be able to save some money to invest in the game, as i feel it is important for the community, and i want cool items and creatures!! the way i have allways looked at it... some people Buy computer games for their DS,Wii PS2, Xbox and the consoles alone cost money, so i dont think you can call it "sad" to spend money on MD.. Especially as people pay for other online games such as WOW and such. I just spend my money on MD rather then these other methods of Entertainment. So with this new item ability thing now available, how do you think this item "could" be implemented, I have written a suggestion to Mur in game PM, but also would like to discuss here if you have any ideas, im not sure how "secret" the items use should be... whether everyone should know what it does.. as it might take away some of the excitement item : Feather of dreams This is a personal item that appeared when i was in a "dream like" state next to the path of lonliness. After deliberation of possible effects we are unsure how the item can be implemented without being too powerful. It is NOT a weapon of attack in general, it didnt appear in my inventory as that, and shouldnt appear as that when used, it should be an item of defence. Usage : 2 uses per spell counter recharge Effect on User(the person using the item) - Attack lock, move lock, weaken defence (this reflects the users concentration/maybe dream like state when the item has been used, also this For RP makes the item interesting, a double edged sword as it were...) Effect on person applied to - attack lock, move lock, weaken defence (principles : cyclicity/transposition/imagination/darkness/time - forming a connection with the feather from a cyclicular day to day "use" and having experienced first hand the power of it on many occasions (the feather has distorted asterdais dreams in the past and has been the cause of the his Dream quest saga), Asterdai believes the feather to be lucky and to hold a great power, and people are aware of this. When someone looks at the item in his inventory everyone knows the feather to be The feather of dreams, and therefore when asterdai "uses " it people expect something to happen. The first part of the connection between the afflicted and the item already exists.. and this is where the power of transposition and imagination can take over... Falling asleep, in his dreams the feather appears as real as when he is awake, and its existence in this state of "imagination" transcends the imagination/reality barrier for him to become something physical and real, even in his dreams. Like the example set in the transposition principle of voodoo, this item holds a power greater than what it is actually physically "made" of. Its the age old saying.. if you believe something to be true.. it more often IS true, for you at least, and what is more important than that!? The darkness here is evident in how imagination and transposition principles can be used to "change" the "truth" that the item is nothing more than a feather, hiding this from affected. The principle of Time is evident when the feather is used, through their imagination the afflicted get caught in a temporal stasis locking then with the user. A kind of battle of the minds which takes on a physical reality. Asterdai using his time, effort and energy in his imagination, which the afflicted can see and experience in front of them, they suddenly become aware that they are "fighting" against it, spending time and effort to overcome the power of the feather and asterdai's mind.) While both are fighting against each other in this "battle" while still able to think and talk about other things, they are unable to fight others and runaway from the location. If the afflicted tries and suceeds in drawing himself away while the powr is still in effect they would allways wonder what they have lost and left behind... to lose a battle of the mind is not a very safe thing to do. (edited for clarity on the use and the adding of how asterdai believes the principles are being used for him and others)

Mmm yeh, i remember when the K docs were being tested, My Q doc wouldnt show up on the list, i had no idea if it was me doing something wrong (i know you can have the option to "hide" your own doc from public) so i take it from you comment awiiya that it is still not possible to Edit and save your own k doc? (it confused me because there were some people on the list..red "files" you could click on, but mine wouldnt appear there )

Ok lets say we were all in a world where you were immortal (yes MD for the sake of argument whether in MD you are or not just say imaginary one) what would this mean, what would you do, who woul you be, rich..famous..fly like an eagle, victorian explorer, astronaut, x-ray vision, what 3 superhero "powers" or traits would you like to, and what would you be, ( EDIT :AND WHY ) how would it affect you, knowing you alone couldnt die? what would it be like if everyone couldnt die... is this whats heavens like (Md like heaven? lol im not sure if thats a good thing!) id be honest, very honest and cheeky i reckon, not care maybe so much about things, (put this in offtopic, in case anyone has Anything to contribute or say on the matter )
