I just ran a quick combat test on the Demo Account creatures, of its 31 creatures only 6 are combat capable. Three of them are Barren Souls, and another one is a Hollow Warrior, leaving only two combat creatures usable, an Imperial and a Joker. Since there is no indication of what will work in combat before it is picked, anyone not familiar with MD will be frustrated by the lack of ability to actually test the combat engine, or understand that it isn't the normal way combat works (ie you learn what happens at the later stage as you reach it, rather than skipping the learning stage and being in the deep end with no instructions) Since part of the point of this account s…

The cauldron type items are designed for group use, their results are also something hard to accept and/or use in the current way trades and ownership of items is understood in the realm. What to do when 10 people join forces to put resources into an item that is then received by the cauldron holder? Its a real question. As much as i want things to go this way, and have more and more people work together to achieve things, this is a real issue that needs to be discussed before releasing these items on a larger scale. You probably know already that i've been playing for the last few days with a new "toy", the Cauldron. Today I made it public, and I will post here the sameple recipe that is currently using. Till v.1.0 game stages were called "alpha stages", now they are called "Stages". Currently we are in Stage 10. MD is, as i mentioned before, in "perpetual alpha". There will always be features in progress, major updates to the gameplay, bugs, issues, etc etc. The stage advances when enough updates happen, enough time passes from the last stage change and when developed features significantly changed the gameplay. I intend to move MD to the next "level", Stage 11. As always, this can happen sooner or later depending on your feedback. This is a public reply to the concern of more people that think viscosity is destroying MD viscosity won't change. it is a change that cant be fully understood by old players that knew things one way, but its inteded to change the way md is perceived. The viscosity increases basically distances in the realm, traveling from one place to an other is equivalent to a larger distance, the feeling of "discovery" is strengthen when you adventure in a place harder to access. First thing i noticed: Announcement said visc would increase by 2 every 6 hours. That seems acceptable. Now, 5 hours after implementation, i'm facing +12 already, which goes way too fast for my humble opinion. Checking up on lost souls in remoter lands regularly to get them out will be impossible with that pace. PS: Sorry to not give it a whole day, but 4 per hour is just very unlike 2 per 6 hours. I'm considering that a bug, and i don't think playing with a bugged feature gets us useful feedback.

I was trying to get a memory stone enchanted but when I gave it to the enchanter it took all the stones that I had and gave them to the person, would it be possible to be able to split the resources so that we are only giving one away at a time otherwise we will be giving away every stone we have to a single person even if they want a couple. I heard that other resources are having the same problem, so I'm sure they would also like the same thing to happen.

I am planning a series of concept changes in MD, here are two of them to discuss: XP XP term renamed game-wide, because it is not actually xp, it is more like "Heat tolerance". Make the xp flow, gaining and losing, more fluid. Make "XP" caps dynamic not static (!) Suggest terms to better describe what current xp is. I talked a while ago about a secondary shop / permanent tombola , that will consider your total supporter status (spend plus current credits) and allow you to pick certain things from a list. While I like the idea of disabling the sorting cloud, I would very much like to have the option to put stars on a topic for easy reference. What I would like to see is instead of just a box to click, to have a drop down with the options: [Advanced Sorting - Cloud], [Basic Sorting - Stars], [No Sorting]. I am also wondering what this option section acts like if you haven't unlocked the cloud? Would be good for it to say [Option locked - Unlock in Credit Shop]

I am thinking to make tombola somehow permanent event. There are however some things i don't like and prevent me from doing so. Other things i like very much and make me search for an option. I dont like: - too much random picking - too much dissapointment if you are unlucky. if you keep spending and you dont win anything month after month you will be very upset - creates the feeling md is only for those thay pay - people will pay just when tombola runs so they get tickets, otherwise why to miss it when credits can wait anyway. Now check this out, MD server seems to have 11 cores now...idk how that is even possible, or what happend, it should have 8 , but i don't mind. looks nice .. And i won't ask hosting what happen or they might just fix it. I know they migrated hardware that day when MD was all day down. We are probably hosted on one of their infernal monsters because the company is no longer offering dedicated servers but was keeping us still. Loreroot archers...anybody explored their full potential? When i made the change on them i thought it will be devastating, since they are supposed to do percentage damage, making them really good against ultra powered players...but it seems i was wrong. Believe it or not i am not a fighter, so what i see from "behind the (st/p)age" might be totally different in the "battle field". So, since no one started the topic yet, I guess I'll start one. I have some concerns on the new species grouping of draches, windies and the premium draches. Quite simply, at the moment there are 4 types of different drachs, but the limit is 3. That means there will be no way to put one each of them in the same ritual Is it possible to change the rules a bit? While directly raising the number limit to 4 will cause too much boost, maybe dividing the sub-types of draches could work instead.
