    I am about to make a major change to how story mode goes. Dont hurry with the opinions untill its done and you take a look at it (yeah i am encouraging alts for this test, but when its done) Plan on short: - when you receive the cube, you will actualy get a customized cube item, with your name on it. - you exit story mode right there and go into free roam - cube can be activated later, and you enter it and see the entire spooky marind story Issues that slow me down: - what happens on the long run, 50k players means 50k new items, cube (as trade item) infaltion will be hight. - what happens at mp4, mp5, will get an other cube, of course not, then how will it go.…

    I finaly made these changes. I wanted to be like that since the very beginning, but,doesnt matter now why it wasnt like that. The beginning story now considers players as actial players in front of their computer and not spirits or fantasy. I am talking about a few rows placed at the story text in tutorial/intro. Don't hurry to test it please, you will have time to see it after the next wave of changes in tutorial i am about to make.

    I think the changes that happened in A9 are quite important. They changed the gameplay and also big concepts in MD. Considering all the things added or changed in A9, including the ones during the festival, do you think it is time to declare MD at the next change? Possible things that could still delay next stage could be factions getting done, tokens fixed. More wish shop items and achievements and other things are irrelevant because they are only "more" but not new. Please review the A9 changes in the newslog and share your opinion about this.     I think that you (Mur) agreed with something i said in the Kings thread, about not having to obey the leader of the land, but pledging to the land rather than the leader of said land.... but you've put at the bottom of the tab; "By submiting this form you agree to obey the laws of the land you selected and obey its ruler." I don't agree to "obey" the leader, and i think you agreed with the point i made about it in the other thread, so could this be changed please? As a side note, since this is work in progress section, anyone else with comments/issues, post here?

    So, here it goes. One of the concepts i was most proud of, has to stop. I concluded that giving power to a person will destroy its creativity. The stress can increase even without a real base. Tell someone stories about how much he has to do and how high is his responsability and he will crash in stress, even if he has nothing to do. The opposite goes to, give someone a lot of work to do but make it so that he does not see it as a duty or responsability and he will work but not get tired of it.     Ok i've been talking with Cryxus trying to establish the first faction and we both realised some things don;t add up right. I need a feedback on the following questions. I think these questions sum all the things needed to put factions in motion. 1. _Exact_ location of a faction. Exact scene names of where factions members can go, OR if they can go the entire land ?     its just a thought, what about a closed group HC to run periodicaly and where only those with hc medals can participate. The reward will be a treasure put together by the participants themselves, one thing each. It could be integrated same as the current HC and keep all others out of it, maybe a different color/style for the heads icon. Its much work to do to make it real, and i could remove the heads ability from all rpcs for this to prevent complicated checks and unexpected situations, but what do you think? ... a level II HC maybe?

  16. This is for all types of players, and is basicaly a part of the factions system but presented outside of it for now. If the voting goes to NO, it will be left for later when factions will be done, if its YES, it will come sooner and integrated with factions later. I am thinking of a page where each rpc would have one entry available to enter: Quest name short description (250chars) rewards given Area where quest giver can be found (not exact location) Other?... Maybe a filter on mp level, age, xp, whatever, to display the quest announcement only to players fitting the requirements.     i think i finaly got something to take the combats in MD outside the usual "fighting" so common in any game. Its kind of dificult to explain what i mean because there is no comparison to anything else i seen before, but for now there is no need to explain anything.     I feel i need to clear some things out for those of you that noticed a significant slowdown in development and the activity on the site in the last period. Things that kept me busy: - new/alternate combat system, that will not replace the current one but it will complete it.     The 3 helmets in willows shop: Swift Lament, Bronze Helm and Crested Helm all give the same stat bonus +1 defense even though they cost very different amounts of value points. Shouldn't they also have different stat bounes to make them unique even if they costed the same number of value points?
