1. 'distributed randomly among your craetures' D'uh... I don't want my precious credits to go towards my for-collection onyl creatures >.<
2.
Answer: Good roleplaying is that type of role playing that requires minimum amount of fabulations . It does not matter how many ** you put or how much you spam the chat it matters how well integrated u are with your presumed role and how u managed to use ur limited abilities to support that role without inventing ridiculous abilities. This is also a criteria for rewarding players.
I agree!
sadly i find it a bit embarrassing that some people can only find ways to complain or not be happy for others rather than bitching about someone getting promoted ask your self and them "hey what can i do to get my role noticed so i can be RPC?" or "what did you do to get RPC?" but also remember with these roles comes responsibility so akasha might be idle from being in the lab(aka working on things for the game) i may be in my shop (aka working on quests for people who want items or wps or docs) as are all the other RPCs working on things behind the scenes...
Sadly, this is the case with many people. Sometimes they are not patient and want to be RPCs just as soon as (not)possible. They did not realize that there are those who roleplayed as well as they are for a longer period of time yet has not been promoted. But they only see it as not being fair to them only, instead of understanding that RPC selection process has a lot of thing to consider, and there always has to be a certain limit on the number of RPCs.
I roleplay, but to me roleplay is not spending all my time here chatting about random things at GoE, but to roleplay in interactions connected to my role and in the way I deal with all players. Your definition may be different, but the joy of MD is that we are all individuals, with our own thoughts and opinions.
DItto this again. You hit the hammer right on the spot, Ailith. Role-playing is playing your ROLE, doing what your character would do. It is not limited to doing a bunch of * * actions all day in the GoE, yet some people seem to confuse this and say that RPCs that doesn't regularly do * * actions as not playing their role. I do hope this topic will open the eyes of more people..
3. Or you can make a new MP2 for golemus xD
4. There are lots of kinds of inner magic spells, and each uses different combination of principles. Thus, IMHO you don't actually need to choose specific principles. Just pick what you like, and later you'll find that you can fulfill the requirement for quite a few amount of spells, although which spell you can cast at higher levels and which do not, is going to differ by your principle choices. THe thing is, you gotta figure out yourself what spell uses what principle in what order, so unless you're set on aiming at one specific spell and are going to do some deeper research on it, just pick whatever principle you like. That's what most of us do.
5. And where did I accuse anyone? I was saying the fact, that you confirmed, that the MRD -BT issue started the whole thing. Then it continued with your dissatisfaction with Raven's leadership over loreroot. Anything here out of the facts? The war actions are RP'ed you say, okay. But I personally don't think it makes it real RP war. From an RP point of view, would MRD and yrth start a war for something that didn't start in game? Sure, the banning happened in-game, and maybe the conversation you had with Raven was done in-game, but that would not have happened without the OOC trigger, would it? Nevertheless, I will not argue with you on this one. Everyone has their opinion on what is RP, and I won't force my opinion to you. I think things that started from OOC matters should not continue to RP, as the source never actually happen in RP storyline. But you are free to follow your own opinions. LR was falling apart long ago...? Loreroot might have problems, but nothing to the extend that it requires a war. Nevertheless, Raven and BT saw that Loreroot needs a leader to make things more organized, and an election was being held. But the path to change was suddenly stopped, even before it could finish, because of the war. What the war brought was tension between the members, confusion, anger, disappointment, all of which only led to things becoming worse for those few days. Change would've happened with or without the war, but the war has brought an extra anguish. I was there, so trust me, I know. And even if combat was the path that is chosen, the damage would not have spread so far if the right target was announced. And if you read what I wrote on the previous pages, you'll see that I really didn't mind people having different opinions about other people, and if you don't agree with Raven's leadership, then it's your right. But then it should be resolved personally as well. Yet war was announced on Loreroot. Some may say that 'civilians doesn't necessarily need to be involved', but when the announced target was called Loreroot, then it involves all Lorerootians. I have addressed this issue before on this thread, but received no response. And before you think that I'm accusing/attacking you, calm down and stop. I'm not here to fight you, I'm here telling my opinion and showing what I see as someone who is inside Loreroot and knows what was being done inside. If you're going to reply, do so in a calm manner. The unnecessary war has caused me enough anguish, I don't want to continue fighting a friend for it.
6. But that is one of the main reasons I was against the war. It started with a personal quarrel, thus I never see this war as an RP war. No, the shade balance war was an RP war, and it was enjoyable as a part of the game. The last war started with personal disputes between MRD and BT, then continued with a personal opinion from you towards raven, yet it was unneededly brought to the whole denizens of two lands. It was never truly a real RP war.
7. One thing that pops to my mind when talking about time and memory is about the land and the shades, who sees the past and the future alike, and thus have memories not affected by time the normal way an ordinary mind is.
8. Well then, hello Chewett. And hello Mur. And of course, hello Macnia =D
9. Yep, long, long ago the items on willow's were limited. I will probably get access to some item creation ability soon, so maybe I should open a workshop there for people to buy custom items on demand? Maybe unique creatures too in the near future, but it probably won't get implemented before the 1st fair, maybe for the next.
10.
forget it tankfans... they cant understand us "alts" >.< i can take a lot of things, but someone calling me an alt... now thats just evil!!!!
That's part of what caused the whole mess, rhaegar. People jump to conclusions without knowing the whole thing, and sometimes without even thinking of clarifying it first. But I'm not about to start all over again on that here.
11. If my memory serves me well, savel left after the quest time limit was over. People were still allowed to give answers after the time was over because no one won yet (I was still sending answers and receiving replies), but the extended period didn't last too long because, well, savel stopped playing. At least, that's what I remember.
12. Well, the quest hasn't died, but the recent events made it necessary to postpone it. So, tune in for updates =) PS: if I'm not mistaken, the medusa's amulet quest had all the steps ready, but none finished the quest within the given time frame, thus no one won.
13. If my opinion is for any worth, I trust Z with the rebuilding of savelites. And, the GotR is not gone. We're just reorganizing, that's all.
14. Knowing what you're gonna do and what is to come, luvva, I am really glad that the savelites is in your hands. Let me just say that you have the vote of another member of that pro tempore council.
15. I can only say that I deeply regret what happened. He has and will always be my leader. I regret that I was not able to attend the meeting, and the events that led to the disrespect to my commander. That part, is a shame in Loreroot history. I just hope that he will return someday, he is an invaluable part of Loreroot.
16. I am saddened greatly by what I hear. Wanting to demote KC? Who the hell did that? I joined Loreroot long ago when KC first made it and was the leader (with Nelya at his side). I never heard him doing a formal retirement, and thus despite his long absence, I still think of him as my leader (de jure, although de facto, I follow Raven who is the leads the daily operations). He's actually the owner of the alliance, despite hi inactivity. Wanting to demote KC is just ridiculous. I wish I was there, but unfortunately the meeting was done when I was away. But this sure shows how some members are not in synch, eh? A shame in our history? Surely is.
17. Happy b'day kriskah =)
18. Lolz. Humans will always be humans, and gods will always be gods xD
19. I am sad that this has come to this. A friend in one of the Golemus alliances gave me a good example about this: he says that loreroot is a house with roaches plaguing it. The neighbors are coming to warn the residents about it. That part's good. But what is happening right now is more than that, the neighbors are threathening to BURN our house because the 'roaches' inside. This is OUR house, and OUR 'pest' (and one that cannot spread to other houses, at that). If people think that a problem inside our house is a valid reason for our neighbors to burn down our house... well, I believe everyone can judge just how right or wrong that is.
20. Yrth, I must ask you to stop this at once. Wanting to remove Raven from leadership is NOT a reason to wage war against ALL of Loreroot. Attacking Loreroot means attacking all its citizens, and even those who do not want war WILL defend Loreroot, because you are attacking our homeland. If you have something against an individual, don't take it out on the mass. I do not want war, but if you are attacking my HOMELAND, I will defend it, and so will everyone in Loreroot.

Happy B-Day Cless!

Happy b'day cless!
22.
I'm in favor of a game reset. I think the realm as it is now is not a good place for roleplaying. There are too many random back stories, too many people who think they used to be Gods, and too many roles that don't fit with the story line, not to mention the copyright infringement as far as the eye can see. (in my opinion, no offense intended to anyone). This also has the side effect of ruining the actual game story for me.
Nice to see more people that thinks like this. Our problem is, even with a game reset, these people would just copy paste their old page and do it all over again. Roleplay progress cannot be taken away with reset, it's a good thing, but unfortunately it also makes a game reset for the sake of roleplaying 100% ineffective. A resed won't make those who were Gods or whose role doesn't fit the story line (and there's sooo much of them. Ok, I don't mind people who were gods, as long as they don't think they have godly powers) will just write it all over again. So.. I would have to say no to reset for the sake of better roleplaying environment. Well, actually, I'm against reset for any reason xD

I found it... in spam folder. I did receive the newsletter on inbox, but the credits arrived on spambox. And... the credits already expired when I click them T_T
24. Not bad, I must say. But like people before me have said, it probably will need more unique abilities as it resembles the knator too much.
