I was asked to make this post by someone else who can't, hence the strange title.

I was wondering ..how was md before stage 12 and how is it now near to the end of this stage. Looking forward to hear your opinions, announcements review, etc. Some major things happend in md during this stage, things that changed it totally...it would be nice to see how you consider them, and what you consider to be biggest progress (some things might be unannounced? idk) Thanks

What do people see as "the point" for stages? To me, I dont see that they affect anyone really, they are a name to which we attach announcements. Its all well and good arguing whether we have moved to "the next stage" as a point of intellectual debate since we like arguments. But whats the point? Surely, if you want it as a "unit of advancement" then every announcement made, every ruling decided, and every offensive comment Dick Dastardly makes, is an advancement in MD?

Ave, You get 40 credits for head-contest (yeah i know it's not happening atm). 15 credits for finding or faking a new player. Yet for one WP just 8 credits? So considering the value of WP and that there is only one i'd suggest 80 or maybe 160 credits. Miq Edit: formatting.

What are they? Revival Token - These will allow the receiver to request one revival, either for themselves or another. The receiver will need to provide a gold piece as an offering, however. This could be used to promote active fundraising and donations to help revive a player, should the receiver not have the coin themselves. Imo that is the WORST "feature" of MD. Everybody is so hush hush and secretive about their research and proud that they "research" stuff. But except very few people that make their research public, everybody else keeps the research under tons of locks but they do brag that they are "into research". Bleah..

Mp6 proves to be a stage that is far from being flooded with people and those that got to it look to me as very worthy of it. Do you think mp6 should get more powerful abilities? Or will this tempt people to do "anything" to reach it, forgetting about mp6 stage name (protector) if you think yes, say in one line what this stage should get more. Council just sent me over the first artworks, some technical points: They need to conform to the current standards of item images, meaning you need to read this: They probably should be coloured, as a recommendation make the greyscale image alpha transparent, then paint colour over it, using layers and possibly transparency to make it look good. We want one artwork for each item, only one can be used and only one is going to get the gold coin. If you cant colour them in, then you need to talk to people who can.

What do the players of MD think about this decision? Personally I think it is the wrong step in the right direction.

Sometimes i talk to people, people that contact me randomly (true they might aim to get stuff) If i see something (as in something=1) in them, i think if that something fits with what they ask, or with something else, and if that something is valuable , i tend to give it to them without much further thinking. Its a method i used over the years and it proved to be good to filter people with potential and keep them interested. What happened to Magicduel? For the last year and a half I have been on and off Magicduel sporadically, it seems everything changes apart from one problem: the lack of players. The situation is like this... over the years, the companies that built browser-based games invested insane amounts of money into advertising certain types of games. Also, development focused on fine-tuning those games for maximum addiction. Games are in general a money making factory, literally nobody ares about any other aspect other than the business aspect. I started and plan to continue MD totally disregarding the business aspect of it.
