Hello there, moderators and innocent bystanders. I've just started playing this game maybe a hour ago. And while it certainly is interesting it seems to suffer from opaque design/interfaces and general accessability. I found several bugs and/or problems. I tried to access the forum to find solutions. Then I stumbled upon a thread trying to help with pictures, only to find out that I'm not allowed to download them... Maybe its because its pretty late and I'm also sick but I'm kinda annoyed by all of this. I want to like Magic Duel but its not making it easy for me. Part of what made 90% of people stay in md was the magical mystery of it. I'd like to see spoilers being a big part of the game again and rules for the spoilers agreed upon and laid out again.

As christmas celebrations are drawing to a close with many quests finishing off, I create this topic to ask you what you thought of this years events. This year I organised christmas differently by adding the overarching christmas points and a better reward scheme for questmakers. I also personally contacted each and every questmaker, helped organise rewards and a variety of other tasks. Along with my questmaking helpers and other various friends we have managed, in my opinion, one of the best christmas celebrations in the last couple years. I have developed a clickie that will be used to store information about on going quests, contests, Market, Events, and other things. The idea behind this is to add a more in game feel to the quests, market, and so on. It would not get rid of the idea of the forums to keep track of who won a quest, scores, why, and what reward they were given. People wishing to add their quests, contests, and events would need to contact me with the Quest/Event Name, Who is the main creator, if it is a land or alliance based quest/contest, any requirements, time restrictions (like if it only lasts a set time frame), and rewards. Okay people, I finally found the solution for those of you who are annoyed with MD sounds. Be it chat, items, spells or attacks, this method will block them ALL. Unfortunately you can't be picky and block everything except chat, it's block all or nothing. This is for FireFox users. Download the BlockSite Add-on Restart Firefox In BlockSite add-on options add this link under Blacklist "magicduel.com/img/interface/sounds.swf" Refresh the MD tab Magic, sound is gone. MD uses that file for all sounds, so you block it and all annoying MD sound is gone.

There are no official contests that are held annually, something that players can look up to and prepare. Christmas and MD birthday are great, but you never really know what type of quests/events it will bring. Combat tournament (statless, tokenless, more requirements optional) is a natural idea. I was thinking that it would be held two times a year, maybe three (once in every four months). After having a having small epiphany tonight I have begun to plan a few months of travelling. It'll happen close to the beginning of next year (probably Feb/March time) but as of yet I'm undecided where to travel. I am migrating md to a better server, this process will take a couple hours and will probably end up with a lot of errors (lets hope not) Same process is going on for the other server with bmmo, so basically everything is down right now,and no, there is no way i could have done that without it being down during this. md just stopped working for me and when I go to the website it constanly reroutes me to a website about printers and such the websites name is "Audley printers" I cant take a screen shot due to me deleting paint. so I ask if this is happening to anyone else?

I know there's not many MP4s to train with currently, I've almost made it to MP5, but before I advance, I would like to help and be a training dummy for anyone who wants to train. :) Just drop a post here for any kind of def rit. I have healers, trees, elememtals, aramors, archers and angiens. :) The best would be if everyone needs wins, so i'll just be a non damaging rit perpetually and everyone can train without worry that I have some other rit on. It's been bugging me for a while so now I'll voice my opinion. Both spells 'hearthepoor' and 'helpthepoor' are quite literally useless most of the time. I'm not sure what the exact age range of them are but they only work on those that are 30 days old or less. Now, I can understand the MP limit, as once a character reaches MP4 they've "progression wise" shown a level of competency where they don't need further coddling. However, I feel that the days requirement is a bit of a joke though, really.
