so i've stopped playing for a couple of months now got tired of having the game load slowly for me though i admit my laptop is a bit ancient, i have other browsergames which doesn't load as slowly as MD so that's what i've been playing instead of enduring slow loading times with MD (i like MD very, very much but until i get a new laptop or PC, i guess i'll be out of the game till then) anyway, this has been a question nagging at me since i started playing MD is it too exclusive for average gamers to enjoy? i know MD's attractiveness is based on keeping spoilers to a minimum but is making MD too hard to explore or quests ridiculously hard helping grow the playerbas…

Site will be down for several hours while server is beeing upgraded to a 64bit operating system. Backups will be used to restore md and a lot of settings will be different. Expect errors and weird behaviour once it is back up. I will try to fix them as soon as possible and with minimum "damage". At first everything will be installed only on one HDD then if its allright it will be mirrored on the entire array. If something goes bad the downtime will be longer. If everything goes smooth site should be up in a few hours and will finaly take full advantage of the entire 8Gb ram and not just half of it. I will keep this post updated. Bookmark it.

I have a small issue (yeah...I always have..I am like a problems' magnet) and I want some opinions. Here is the issue: Last night I solved DS' quest. When I PM the leader of DS for the reward I received the following answer: "DS does not reward enemy's." (please excuse the grammar of the response) The quest stated NOTHING about this. And I have witnesses. So I feel like I was cheated. I don't want the spell pages nor the WP (due to this rule "These points are given by the RPC and its their own decision if they give you one or not."). Erm.. Reading all about spheres, cubes and circles in the pinned up thread, i remembered a question i encountered while preparing for my engineering exams( i m not an engineer i am a doctor. I prepared for both) The question was what would you relate a circle with radius equalling infinity to? The options given were a cube, a sphere, a line or a point. The answer is very simple. My biggest issue with the game is receiving negative exp. I can understand if you cannot beat a ritual then fine but if I annihilate the opponent meaning they have zero health and the fight is over, no penalty should be inclined. Am I alone on this? I believe this to be a good debate if someone opposes this (good for me!) Seriously though, why is it coded this way? I dont have much time to play but I don't feel like playing after this happens tbh. A while ago, Muratus del Mur made a lecture to all those willing to listen at the Howling Gates about the Transposition Principle which eventually morphed into a lecture on magic in general. He has stated on a number of occasions that he is willing do another lecture if there is enough interesting. So, I am putting it out to the general community. As the actions, statements and rumors and private things started to degenerate till putrefaction i will let everybody know that i have nothing personal with Amoran's person but with her actions against MD, by actions i refer to everything she done (not the good things, but the bad ones). I seem to have incurred a horrible disease! I will tell you the tale of this horrible affliction that occurred to me. I was just walking busy doing lol when all of a sudden I noticed that my speech had started to change. I suddenly replaced random words for lol and I could not control myself. Before I lol’d it, I was lolling all over the place! While I myself often and sometimes even in an obscene amount use the word lol, I know realize that this lol just went too far. I personally would like to see this go to a whole new height. The thing I am alluding is reviving the dying art of lecturing in realm. I remember when we had a healthy community and the interest to teach as well as learn. Personally I don't think this has gone away, but it needs a catalyst and i think this just might be the chance,and as such i will personally apply my person wealth toward trying to rebuild an institute of scholarly discussion. On the forum we will discuss things like jobs, quests, announcements, information, schemes, things of that sort. This is a public announcement of my new quest "Curses". This quest is built to instill a sense of teamwork into a group of individuals. For this quest a date is set, and a group of no more than 10 is gathered.
