Ok, due to a lot of things happening lately I have a proposal. I've been thinking of starting a shop/merchant service. Basically, I am asking you to sell or give me items. In return I will sell these items on to people for item creation or quest purposes. The idea is to do it for nominal fees and to try to keep things reasonably affordable. I'll run it on a non-profit basis, although there will be profits involved. Confused? Well, what I mean is this. Say you sell me something for 3 silver. I will sell it on for 4 or 5 say. So, I guess the time has come to start a poll on one of the most game-breaking issues we're facing right now: how boost auras work. Right now, auras work multiplicatively, so that a 50% damage boost aura will give 1.5 times base damage, two 50% damage boost aura will give 1.5*1.5 = 2.25 times base damage, and so on. With the amount of boost that is given by BPs and rusties (and probably reins), damage can go up to astronomical amount which leads to a current situation where it's almost impossible to defend against it for even one round. When the LR items are launched, i would like to ask the players that get "Pendant of The Oracle" or/and "Obsidian orbs" to keep them for THEMSELVES until i return. Something very (can't find the right term) just happened to me when I idled at the GGG last night. I gained 140k exp, and got capped, but only my def crit (an elemental1) got experience, and only halt of the personal exp I gained. I doubt that this happened by accident, since that is an outrageous amount. I can only conclude that someone don't like what I'm doing, because I do appear as a MP3 stat grinder. A player trying to revive MD is like trying to revive a person who is drowning by throwing a bucket of water at their face. EDIT: To expand on that, I didn't mean players shouldn't try to make the game more fun. I simply meant that MD wouldn't be MD without Mur, and only Mur could "revive" the game.

I have heard people talk about the population decrease in MD. I do not think that it is a problem of people joining MD but a matter of people leaving MD. I wish to discus why you all think people are leaving MD, how to make some changes in MD to keep people around, and perhaps talk about what made MD something that you liked in the beginning. I've noticed recently that there are a couple of members that are hoarding creation items and not even using them. They simply sit on the account of said person like a trophy. Mind you not all items need to be used but... a few people seem to have oodles and oodles of items that could be handy to use in the item creation process but they are unwilling to sell or use any of them because they are...trophies? I guess that's the best way to put it. Item hoarding to sit at the top of the 'Item owners' list. Anything that can be done about this? After much debate on the item owners topic it seems that people think others are hoarding the items to be on the item owners list. And as the only Hoarder who spoke, IAB said that he keeps it not for the list, So surely they wont mind if it will be removed It will mean that people wont just get items so they can appear on the list. What do you guys think? Im not entirely sure this will fix any problems, but i am merely wondering if people think it should be removed to aid the problem.

May first of last year MD had its first item and slave auction which ended up being a huge success. I would like to hold another one this year as well. The PL entry in the attached screen-crop is totally unacceptable behavior from a guy who really knows better. This is in-game harassment about something which is, at best, a RL issue related to the game only by the fact that the two people involved both play it. If you have ever been to the temple hall it is time to take a second look and stay tuned. In the eastern lands the is a location as follows.: Territory: Lands Of The East Coord: 7_templehall_1. It used to be a lot easier to get there but things are getting difficult as to enter the temple from the entrance takes a grand total of 200 AP 100AP to walk up what is a seemingly small staircase and another 100AP to open what seems like well oiled though heavy double doors. The test items Mur has released via the Wasps Totem are not for you to keep! Use them a few times, test them out, and return them! I do not know why Mur is releasing things via first come first serve basis. Items are not being returned. People keep them for themselves. I even tracked down a few of the people with the items, and you know what? They are MP3s. MP3s shouldn't even be in Loreroot, and that makes me think that they are alts of people who do not want to be seen hoarding these test items. Just shows how selfish and greedy people are. Please return the items before you log out. You don't need them 24/7. You can't even use them that often.

Well it is almost all sorted after many trials and tribulations in sorting the whole affair out. As many of you already know I am getting married this year and so it has been decided as part of the traditional stag, that Romania is to be invaded by us Irish. O.k. I don't post often but I think this might just have some interesting results. In my personal opinion basically all lands well except maybe one and leading closely two have a aufull score. This is likely facilitated by the fact that people are asking players to sit just out side well they just feed them wins but still I think there are other difficulties. i keep getting so many complains that i will post my opinion publically now. I made a deal with Fenrir to trade my double aged gg drachorn for $40 credits in my account. I told him to give me the $$ first but he said no he has invested $75 in the game now and it will be stupid of him to scam me. So i trusted him and he said I give the drachorn and he will give me the credits. I wanted to write this topic for a long time but I always delayed thinking things will change. So the issue is with some of the current quests. For a while now we have almost 2 types of quests: 1)Write an essay on which side of the bed the grasan sleeps 2)Spam..aaa find player x then find player y then find the place where the grasan drinks his morning coffee and PM the quest creator. The first type of quests are ok as long as you don't exaggerate. But let's be serious. Some of the subjects for the essays are pure stupidity.
