I see how important it is that some roles don't get lost, be it because of their powers, their history, their level of integration, whatever. However, I just can't agree with the use of old accounts just to keep them alive! An RPC is (/should be) working on his own role, and not keeping several accounts semi-alive, like it's done with Simply and Wodin! How should there ever be a history of the realm when nobody dies? Hello all, it has recently come to my attention that there has been a number of afflictions affecting those who reside on GG mountain. I have quarantined those affected individuals in their houses, and am not letting anyone see them for fear of contamination... I am currently trying to assemble 5-10 individuals to band together to help me get information on those affected by other inhabitants and visitors to GG that may know about these individuals. The front page's new addition, while informative, is, I believe, to be more of an eyesore than a way to attract more players. The original page showed what new players wanted to know about a game. This is entirely my fault. I was performing a mysql/apache/php upgrade on my own, assuming it will work and it obviously didnt. I don't think the damage is to big, but since the situation with the hosting is kind of tensed right now, i dont expect they will see it that way. Anyway, data is safe, just sites are down. This is a continuation of the MD is dead topic so that it can remain on topic. MD is Boring. Others think it, I said it. Now lets look at the biggest problem with why MD is now Boring. First: GGG The GGG is ruining MD. People sit there all day long and farm 0 damage wins. Wins are supposed won. Not given. Stats are not to be given so freely either. Ok I have already found a problem with non-land players having only 90 action points. Simply the ability to get into locations with 100AP requires you to have a land. For example I would have to be part of Marnidbell. I understand the incentive is to increase the incentive to join a land more so then before but complete restriction of certain areas which where not restricted before is not an effective method. If things stay like this I can expect a large amount of people to disappear by the end of next month without fail. You cant simply change one thing and expect to get away with it. When you change something everything else has to change with it.

A lot of quests suddenly seem to have a big restriction, like: Be a citizen of land X and you can win a WP! I rarely see any WP quests which don't include any kind of restriction like that. So why don't you just go ahead and close border, so everyone lives within isolated countries? I don't like the way the rewarding went, and so I have a proposition. The logs of WP should show that as well, that many WP only go to people in the same land, and not to everyone else anymore like they used to. For as long as I can remember, dst has been just as much a nuisance to the general MD public as certain other individuals. The names Death Ray, and redneck come to mind. It's been a long time since I originally planned to write History of Loreroot, but it wasn't up till now that I actually started writing.
