  1. Started by Blackshade Rider,

I am posting this cause Bfh encourage me on this. I was thinking the bird creature you can recruit in MB should be moved to the nest you find on the side of the cliff when you go underground. I feel it is only right. Here is my logic to this. When you recruit the creature (I believe its called a winder wild mine I named differently) it starts off as an egg. So why not recruit this creature from a birds nest cause it is after all a bird. The nest that is there currently has no use. I also feel this would help spread out the creatures a little bit and make it more of an experience and also make more of an adventure for new players recruiting this bird creature. I belie…

Currently the links reset to be useable every 24 hours from the last time you used them. This is detrimental to the concept of getting everyone to vote daily - They may not always be online at the same time, and even if you kept a regimented watch, eventually a day will get missed. My suggestion is that the links reset at 00:00 ST each day so that people can vote everyday without fail should they choose to. Z

  3. Started by DARK DEMON,

Why not have an achievement designated to be given to players who have made X number of quests, or even have a few spells (useful in quests) which would be given to whoever earns the achievement? :D Some exist, some may be coded (if people agree), eg: 1) bringin 2) makejumplink 3) ... This would be a good incentive for people to make good quests.

  4. Started by Aeoshattr,

Though I'm not entirely certain if this was suggested or not before in the same form (I.E. I might just be a pain in the butt for mods and "repost" an older topic) I had this idea. Would it be acceptable (by all non-spoiler, etc) standards to have a "creature artwork" gallery feature, similar to other games? Right now, this is how I envision it working: Availability: Free (everyone has it by default) $$ Shop (Extra Features) Once the feature is unlocked/purchased , there are 2 options: It is completely blank. Has ALL the creature families and levels mentioned in it (but they're blacked/greyed out or contain no information whatsoever.) In order to unloc…

  5. Started by Ungod,

We live our lives following a number of ways, believing a number of ideas, collecting bits and dust to create our selves. Many times we think about the past or the future, acknowledging Time. There are people (to whom I refer as 'stupid') who live only in the present. They think very little of the future (usually, that's in the line of 'tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I will...') and memories are so faint that a breeze of present will shuffle them and send them away. Not everyone needs a timeline, though - like some tribes in the Amazon. Maybe some inventions can be made, but..do they really need them? Or the aboriginals in Australia - brits found them roaming the land…

  6. Hello everyone. I have been trying to figure out a way to use my Autograph item in game. I have came up with my own personal charity. Once a week I choose some one that I see fit and I give them my Autograph. With this Autograph I allow the person I gave it to , to pick 1 item out of my inventory (other than my coins and personal items and my chewan) for free. So far its worked out well. Magohi was the first to get this offer. I passed him my Autograph and told him he may pick one item from my inventory for free now or in one week. He waited the whole week and so my offer did not expire I told him when his week was up and he picked sashas bottled em…

  7. This would help smooth out gameplay and make the worshiperprotectoradept system feel more natural and organic

  8. Started by MRWander,

I was thinking something like combining a few totems of the same type to create part of a totem pole crit where each section would give a type of aura or stat boost to other creatures in a rit. Asthir was thinking more like it would be an equipment item item slot that it'd go into.

  9. Started by Aethon,

With the new "rules" (if that's the correct term to use) about respect and such I'd like to propose a new method of "punishment" or "law enforcement" for those cases where a "resolution" can't be given. The Warden A title that should make even the strongest of players tremble at it's speaking! This person would work alongside judges to make sure the fate or punishment of a player is carried out. The main purpose of "The Warden" would be to transport prisoners to and from the prison. Once there, The Warden oversees their stay and has "control" over them - like how dream weavers may have control over those they put into dreams. Behave badly, try to escape, t…

Recently, there have been a couple of, what I'll refer to as realm quests, such as the current "Mystery of the Orb", as mirus has described it. I propose that future things like this be entered into the AL. This would allow much more realm involvement than the current global message only method does, because, if you idle in populated areas, such as the GOE, you may not even know that anything has happened if you don't see the original messages.

  11. Started by Chewett,

Chewett: It would be interesting if spells degraded as they were continually pumped into spellstone Chewett: As a result of completely "forgetting" their uses, each time you pump all your knowledge into a stone Chewett: Slowly over time, losing more and more true knowledge of the spell.

  12. Started by Kaya,

While I love the idea of viscosity, the way it's implemented is terrible. Not only from a gameplay perspective, but also when looking at it conceptually. As such I will propose a few fixes to integrate viscosity more with MD as well as to make it less destructive from a gameplay perspective. Part 1 (Averaging out viscosity): The first issue is the Viscosity Dead Trap. Basically when moving from one scene to another, you have no way to know how much taking that same step back will cost you. A scene with -80 viscosity can be followed up by a scene with 40 viscosity (and yes, that is very common, especially in MB) making it easy to leave, but hard to come back without a…

Currently, Rainbow Candy breaks into 5 of the 7 colors of the Rainbow. Suggestion: add Indigo and Violet to the "melting" possibilities. Effect possibilities: - Reduces attack cool-down timer by X% for Y minutes. - Gives X Exploring Points. - Poisons consumer, lowering stats A/B/C/... by X(%) for Y minutes. - Doubles the Regeneration timer along with its gains for X minutes. (20 minutes cool down, but you gain double than what a regular reset would yield) Effects can be combined to achieve more balanced ones. Additional ideas are more than welcome. :P

Currently, when you buy the Notes on Gossip feature in the MD shop (ID 13), you can only view it once. I propose that a way be added for those of us who have already purchased it to view the notes again.

Just a suggestion for the future if reshaping the interface ever comes on the que for projects to be focused on. Problem: Many players acquired considerable amounts of various items, be it resources, common items, etc. When you click on their items list, you get overwhelmed, and I believe we lost the connection between the player's character and items that should enhance the role of the player. My suggestion to solve it: On the appearance of the items list, at the top of that side bar part you would have three small-font-written options to list rare items, resource bag, or 'other' (which would have everything else - coins, consumables, common items... etc.). …

  16. Started by Myth,

What would you say to the opportunity of resetting your creatures to what they were when first acquired, through means of a fee in coins? The fee would vary, based on the rarity of the creature. The fee would be for a basic reset, meaning the creature's name, age, heat and battles. For tokens, an additional fee of 1sc/token would be applied. (or less?) For instance: - 1sc / 1 NML or MB creature - 3sc / 1 LR or early Shop creature - 5sc / 1 NC or medium Shop creature - 7sc / 1 rare or late shop creature To add a bit more usefulness to this, the place this would be possible at would only be accessible by whoever holds a specific key and the gains of this wou…

After a mention of a black interface for MD I did a bit of digging, and found it quite quickly. I present to you, MD (mostly) styled to a darker theme.

We have a sunny weather spell to cancel out night mode's effects. We now need a mist of darkness spell (or another name, feel free to suggest) to influence night mode further! (i.e to cancel out the sun's effects) What do you think?

  19. Started by Dragual,

As some people may have noticed, I've been working on a new item called a Black Egg. This is a consumable item that is used to blind a target. The functionality would be that you would be unable to see the scene, so instead get a blank scene with only an arrow facing towards you. Since you can't see where you are going, clicking the arrow would take you to any random, scene that is possible to get to from your current scene that you have access to. Since you cannot see anyone, ALL players become a ghost to you. To make it, you need a Bird Egg (Creature), 1-5 Sand, 1-5 Toxic Plants (Crushed), and possibly 1-3 Glass (Crushed). In addition, wax is required and some…

More than 3 years after Announcement 2030, although there are research level 3 clues in existence, it's not currently possible to unlock level 3 clues without wishpoints, and even then, you have to make sure you've unlocked all the level 2 clues, or you are pretty likely to unlock one of them instead. The team of people to review research submissions, as claimed in Announcement 2043 also never materialized.

Currently WP-crafted items come under the "default" category. Wouldn't it be better/make more sense for them to be in the personal category? They are certainly distinctly more role/character based than any other item.

  22. Started by BFH,

Idk if this has been proposed before but I think a cool nice feature would be to implement a "Do not show again" link to in game tips (specially those that appear in triggers box)

  23. Started by Dragual,

So, my idea is this. A spell that lingers in an area until either a target enters the scene or the spell expires. If the player enters the player enters the scene it acts as a normal spell, while if the the spell expires... Well, nothing happens. An example is that AmberRune and I are racing each other from the GOE to Howling Gates. We start, she gets ahead of me a few scenes and casts Movelock Trap on playername (Darth). I enter the scene she set the trap on, and am stuck there. I'm okay with reducing the amount of time the spell actually holds me there for, to kind of balance it out with the other Movelock spell... But I believe you should still have four casts…

  24. Started by Myth,

In regard of the latest madness around, I was wondering if we couldn't, by chance, make our characters a bit more productive in-game. I read darkraptor's idea about tools becoming overused in time, then I read something about roles being earned, and I think that the latest post Mur made can go right on top of it. (never mind, it's not about useable items) Consider that everything we have now is taken for granted. You have tools (axe, basket, bucket) which you can loan for a while in order to obtain resources which, in their majority, aren't being used for anything. And you have items which, again, you can take and use for a while, such as the Box of Rainbow Candy, or …

  25. This proposition has two major parts When a Land Cleanser is activated it should reset the combat timers of the players whose fightcauses were consumed (So if Player A and B attack player C with "landguard" they could attack player C again) To prevent abuse players would not get wins/heat on their creatures and they would not get profile stats (including wins/losses/honor) from fights with causes If this goes through there should be a warning on the slider/fightcause page that you don't get any stats when fighting for a cause.
